Spend the day on hold. Nothing more exciting than listening to muzak for hours on end. The only good news is none of the places I called used the same tunes.

First I'm trying to cancel hotel reservations. I no longer have the reg number. I have to have the reg number to use the online site. Contacted the hotel. They don't have me book and have no record of me even reserving a room. They told me to contact the fandom staff. They don't have anything to do with hotel reservations. Really not happy about the possibility of a $500+ bill for something I'm not going to be at. I've been to the emergency room. Not getting any bills. I got a full statement from my insurance. I know how much I owe and would like to get it paid. Called the hospital. They told me all my bills were sent electronically. So I go to the site. Nothing there. The only thing I saw told me to have billing numbers from a bill to get more information. You know, the bills I'm not getting because they are all on line. I've already decided how this is going to be handled. Tomorrow I'm going to call billing again. Explain the situation and tell them this. "Figure this out or I'm going to send a single check with the full amount. Then you guys can divide it up." This isn't the first time I've had problems with them. Someone accidentally changed a single letter in my name. The insurance wouldn't accept the new spelling. I had to contact them and tell them to look at their spelling and the photo of my driver's license. They've also had my address wrong. A few thousand miles wrong. Perhaps that's the poor guy who's getting all my bills.

Sitting at home with a nasty cold, trying to work remote...
Masks help stop the cold. I know who I got this from, and I am cranky about it.

Now preparing to pack up a finished model kit into a large plastic tub for long term storage.

Writing up Construction and Historical papers for 2 models I plan to take to a contest. Each model I enter at this specific contest requires a one page Construction paper on how the model was built, plus a one page Historical paper on the actual history of the subject that the model is based on.

I hate paperwork.

After finally getting a decent tuner I'll be moving the bridges on the guitars I've made. Not that hard to do. There will be a few screw holes showing. I wont care and doubt anyone else will notice. The good news is once this is done I'll have a permanent measurement where the next guitar bridges will be placed. For both the guitar scales I use. 24 3/4 and 25 1/2. Each being the measurement from the nut on the guitar head to the bridge.

Went and saw "Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" movie today with a friend.
And then I began to think, How did Wanda Maximoff become the Scarlett Witch? What did I miss?
There must have been either a movie or an MCU series I missed that probably explained that.

Pulled one guitar bridge off today. Going to need a really small dowel rod to fill in the screw holes before I move it. Needs to go back about an eight of an inch. Wile i have this guitar torn down i"m going to rewire it's electronics. Have a second one who's bridge also needs to be moved. This one forward by about the same distance. Going to rework this one's electronics too.

In Wandavision her happy, suburban life came crashing down and she lost her children she had. Now she's completely gone over the deep end and seeking to do whatever she can to gain enough power to restore her perfect world and get her children back.

I have like 300 hours of time off... gee maybe it is time for a vacation?

What am I doing today?

Coming onto this forum that I haven't been on since 2008. At least that's going from my last post on here. This is such a time capsule for me.

I almost forgot this place existed, but luckily I remembered and by some miracle remembered my login eventually. It's been so long.

I can really tell I've grown since then. Still a furry, of course, but I'm a lot more mature now than I used to be, that's for sure.

I think we all can look back on our past, seeing that we were cringe and edgy at some point. Lol. Or maybe that's just me. I dunno.

Honestly that sounds kinda cool! (Re-finding this place I mean)
I am a late comer here, and fandom in general.

Interesting that despite all the changes we experience as we age, some things stay the same.
Neat that you are still a fur. I suspect that it is something that doesn't die off easy for most of us.
I have no intentions of "not being a fur" since it is part of me.

I am sure if I was here as a kid, I would have been totally cringe.

Just got back home from watching the new "TOP GUN Maverick" movie with a friend. What a thrill! There are very few movies that I would give a 5-star rating too. This is one of them. A lot of Hollywood movie sequels don't end up as good as the original. This new movie is the exception. It's THAT good! Go see it. Why? Because we all have the need.......the need for speed.
