Dollar Tree Food Finds

(1/1)

Rocket T. Coyote:
I seem to be spending more time in Dollar Tree stores lately. Was intrigued by the frozen steaks and pork chops. These are packaged in flexible plastic packaging. The pork chop is the larger of these two offerings. The steak is perhaps enough for a sandwich or to dice, a fajita, or a shish kabob. I pan fry these. The steak seasoned with Lawry's Seasoned Salt, and the chop with onion powder. These might be welcome entrees on a camping trip as they are frozen, already packaged, and could keep overnite in a cooler to be prepared the next day.

Rocket T. Coyote:
For a quick and easy hot lunch, the frozen microwaveable egg rolls are quite good IMHO. I've seen them offered in the supermarkets too--sometimes at a 25% markup. There's chicken, pork, shrimp, lobster, and a veggie offering.

You get more chips in there bags rather then name brand

Kaiden:
It's not dollar tree per se, dollar General, but they have these spicy noodles, not ramen but well... pretty much ramen but the noodles are slightly thinner and longer, and it's pretty tasty, only costs $1.08 after tax, goes well with a glass of milk surprisingly. :D

I'll have to post a pic, if my phone will allow it.
