I use an ancient version of Photoshop (v5.5).  I can't really afford to upgrade, but it works beautifully with my new WACOM Bamboo tablet.  I just got my courage up to try it out on a couple of projects, and it really speeds up my coloring.

"Any movie with a "preachy" message, be it Christianity, environmentalism, political positions, or what have you, turns away people because rather than letting the audience figure out for themselves what the meaning is, they are told exactly what they ought to think and usually in terms of slogans and buzz words". ~ Brian Godawa

OpenCanvas 4.5 is my program of choice, it's got a great range of tools and I love it. I also use Photoshop (Elements... 3? It came with my tablet ages ago), but mostly for processing, adding filters or fancy stuff to finished images. OC works way better for drawing, inking, and coloring.
