I hope to have a furry family. But again, I won't force it on my kids if I have them.

I don't have children yet, but would I allow them to live such a lifestyle? No. Reason? Because it alienates you from the rest of the populace, or the "normal people". Believe me, I know. I was really into role playing in high school and I was constantly made fun of. I don't want my children to ever go through that. Having it as a hobby is one thing, but it shouldn't be your whole life.

Alright, I'm no lifestyler, and really don't plan on it, but IMO forcing your kids to be one is W-R-O-N-G. It's ok if you are one, but forcing someone else that doesn't want to is bad. However if they want to be I support them. '<img'> Hopefully I won't have kids til I'm married, unless something bizarre happens, like someone forcing themselves on me.....

Otherwise I'm staying a virgin until I'm married. '<img'>

Well if it alienates them from the booze, drugs, teenage pregnancy, and STDs that's a good thing right? Assimilating is overrated. But you are right though, there needs to be a balance. You still need to be functional in the real world and be able to make friends with all sorts of people instead of being wrapped up in your fantasy.

well if i were to have kids in the future i would leave it up to them but also teach them that we can be the same as people that are not furries

and i have 2 sibling but sister would not beable to comprehend the fandom and my brothers thoughts of us are just to F***ing F***ed up that he would not even want to listen (eventhough my parents dont know i'm a fur)
I will be at RMFC 2008

well at school for me i'm already an outcast since my whole moral stand point on things stands out sometimes and i also some times have a big mouth '<img'> .... because i used to have a reputation as a snitch so not many people like me so if i'm to have kids someday and they are outcasted i'd show them to the fandom and suggest that you can also have friends that are furries...

but i'm not god so i wont force some things into someones head... but i'm a little devient when it comes to mind games

I don't know that I can call myself a lifestyler, but my 10 yesr old daughter already draws furry art(better than I do) we will wait until she is old enough to decide on her own.

Not planning on kids for a while.  I voted yes only because it would be nice for any kids I have to grow up and not have to argue with their parents about being/not being a furry.  The old thing of either being just like your parents or totally opposite from them.

As for siblings, my sis is okay with me being furry, I think, but I really couldnt see her being one, she'd likey be equine were she a fur though.

Nice to know I'm not the only outcast here.

I'm not a lifestyler, I'm just replying to this for the heck of it.

I've yet to have children, but someday I DO want some. And when I do, my children are going to grow up as intelligent, well loved individuals who know who they are. I refuse to force my children to be furry, but if that is a hobby or even a life style they wish to take on, they will know that I love them and will support them no matter what they choose.
