I'm anti-social but not by choice, I don't know any furs near by. I meet a lot of furrys online in my state but I can't see them until I get a car

I'm gonna try and go to a furmeet with some other San Antonio furries this week... my only problem is that I'm horrendously silent and shy at first, and it takes at least two or three sessions of being around people to say much of anything--which means at least a month before I start really getting friendly with these people ':dead:'

Oh well. I want friends, am sick of being stuck in this house, and I'm gonna find some even if it takes me forever...

I know the feeling Windpaw, I've become rather social and outgoing sence discovering furry a few months back, but now I don't know were to go from here. Good luck.

I'm getting more confident and taking neysayers less seriously. One friend said, "If he wants to pretend he's a wolf, then let 'em." Its a bit more serious than that, but I understood him. Most of my friends have warmed up to my furriness quite a bit. They see a positive change in me, and they like it. I'm more fun to be around. ':cool:'

I'm not very social at all and I don't know any furrs nearby anyway. Maybe once my family get settled down I'll be able to find a few furry friends.

but i wish i had some who lived near my area.

I tend to avoid both furries AND mundanes, no matter the soul shape humans scare me.

When I am social it is with people I am drawn to or choose to go to or with people who activly seek me out on there own.

Usually I will only interact with what I see as my 'pack' even though there are 'mundanes' and none-wolfen amoungst that number.

I'd always be happy to meet furs IRL, but I'm not very sociable on the internet. I think this is just because most of the time I'm on the 'net I'm either at work or doing a bunch of things at one time....

When it comes being social furry-wise, only here and in the Furtopia IRC chat. I had a conversation a while back with a friend who was pretty close to finding out I was a furry, but no, I'm not too social as a furry in real life.

As a mundane I have a pretty big group of friends from high school, but most of us went off to college in separate directions. We still chat and see each other whenever we're all back at home though.

there are no furs around here but i would definitely go to a furmeet as soon as i get my license...

its about 30 to 40 min. away but idk exactly where

Quite social, really. Though I've only recently met another fur here, in interior Alaska. Besides that, I have a wealth of furiends in the '48, whom I visited over Christmas/New Year's. Furs are awesome people!
