I don't know any furs in rl and untill about two months ago didn't even know they existed. But I am thankfull to have found this group of furs that I would be honored to call my friends if I may do so.

Well, im the only furry i know in real life (and even i dont know me that well), i checked on teh IFPL and it says im the only fur in a 50 mile radius of my house, which is in south devon (dartmouth to be precice) if there is anyone living in the area (which i doubt) then please contact me on aim... as i dont really have many furiends who i stay in regular contact with...

There is a site called International Furry Meetup which tries to get furries to meet up at 8 pm on the first Tuesday of everymonth, why not check out that site?

The only RL furry I know is my friend Jenna, who introduced me to the fandom in the first place. I belong to the TN Furs yahoo group, but there's always something that deters me from going to a meeting, like the city they choose and such.

I still would like to meet other furs though.

I've met 4 furs IRL. There's surprisingly many of us in Finland, but I'm the only one in my town. (Well, one or two others, but they're not too active and I know pretty much nothing about them.)

i put that i socialise with them sometimes, cause Varg lives across the street, and Da_Bear (my bf) and i are together alot, he also lives near, a few blocks away...

I have a friend in RL who is a furry, but won't admit it. I have a thread about that in this forum, so I won't get too off-topic. Besides him, I really don't have anyone near me who is a furry.

Well I have a few things going against me and meeting furries in RL.

1. I go to a private school which happens to be Catholic. It has very few furries. tough now that I think of it one of the seniors may of been either a furry or realy into anime.

2. I am 17 I dont get to travel much and I do not have much of a social life.

3. I can not communicate well with people I just meet for the first time.

I wish I knew some furries but until I go to college (Going to Southwestern Community College for two years then transfering to SDSU.) I do not plan to actully meeting any who is furry in rl

i am the same way. i know there are others within 5 miles of me, but we have never met. i know of at least 7 others in that 5 mile radius. maybe i should get all of them together sometime.

however i voted "I don't know many fur friends. But I think I'd like to know more."... i only have about 17 friends who are furs, but i'd really like to meet more than that... which is why i've gone to national furry sites and international furry sites and achieving more furiends from that

Well the problem is besides I am boring also. I have this thing about meeting people I seen on the internet. call it being paranoido, or being over protected by my parents when we first got the internet. Besides what would my parents think if the saw some furries walk down the street, heh. (they dont know anything about furries, tough my dad did see some of the artwork I printed out and was confused by it.)

I dont know if my parents are ok with furs they dont really know and since I have my own laptop *hugs sal(laptops name) they may not know Im just worried my mom will start on her "be careful these sites attract strange people" speeches like when I told her I had started talking about wicca chat board and I doubt she would let me go to a furrie con since she would want to keep an eye on me but wouldnt want to go I cant wait till Im 16 and can just drive and hang out somewhere all day without them knowing
