physical pain isn't really a big problem. being depressed is a thousand times worse....I'd have to disagree as well as agree. Braces is in the top worst experiences of my life. That and several other things were very painful. I've had a more than generous share of Sickness and surgeries. I couldn't imagine trying to live my life in continual physical pain. Depression is annoying though in it's own way. It's not as obvious as a physical injury and it can leave a person thinking of all the bad things that have happened to them. I know all to well what that feels like and yet I can still imagine that continual physical pain is worse.
I've done that :/ yes and no.. I think depression is worse but the pain of an injury can be annoying when it first happens but some do have long lasting impacts.. I think the worst pain I've ever felt would have to be inbetween continually vomiting or having braces. Probably braces.. When I cut my head on a metal door thing I don't actually remember how painful it was. I agree. I know what its like to be depressed alot.
But you gotta admit, falling down a staircase and cracking your skull open on a door is pretty bad too.

I couldn't sleep last night, so I was tired in the morning. I headed out to take my final exam, but on the way I realized that I forgot to put on shoes, so I went back, put on shoes, and headed out again. I arrived at my exam and realized I forgot to bring any materials at all, so I ran to the bookstore and bought pencils and some soda. x_x

We forgot to set the alarm -- or turned it off and went back to sleep -- or something, and so we overslept by two hours this morning. And my daughter had a field trip today. So, when I woke up, I had to rush like crazy to figure out where the field trip was at and drive her out to meet them so that she wouldn't miss the whole thing. She did miss out on riding the bus, though, and she really loves that. So, it was sad. I'm planning to let her choose between being taken out for frozen yogurt, ice cream, or cake after school. It doesn't make up for causing her to miss out on part of her field trip... But, hopefully, it'll... I don't know. I feel really bad for letting her down.

i put a password on my computer and phone so no one can see any of my stuff and even if they did i got nothing to hide. yes it sucks to not have any privacy, but that just means you need to be a little careful with that stuff. if this is about them knowing you are a furry nothing is wrong about that (tho they did invade your privacy) the people who found out about me yesterday didnt even mention it today.
try to talk with your dad how he shouldn't be picking through your stuff like that and if he doesnt care just put passwords on your stuff.

someone tried to fight me, I put him in a martial arts hold and said if he tests me again and punches me, that I would reverse the way their arm is bending (break his arm), nobody has messed with me EVER since. It was a little bit overkill, but he was asking for it by just punching a martial artist like a coward in the back with no warning. I grabbed his arm, twisted it, windmilled him by the arm, nearly smashing his face to the ground and then threatened him holding him in the position in one arm and a knife hand strike ready in the other. He nearly cried like a little baby. I kinda ruined his reputation because he was a popular athlete though. I got in no trouble whatsoever, and didn't even get a referral because he threw the first blow. Sucks to be him. Just a random story kinda related. (A knife hand strike isn't a knife, it is when your fingers are straight and stiff and by someone on the neck to knock them out instantaneously).

Good luck getting that taken care of. I had 2 wisdom teeth pulled long ago and the procedures went fine with no problems. The third wisdom tooth needed oral surgery to remove. Not fun. x_x

Ugh, I'd managed to put it out of my mind until now, but mine will likely be removed surgically this summer (all four) >:(. I've actually never had surgery before, so I'm really not loving the idea - but then again, I don't want an abscess either.
I am having really bad stress, anxiety, and depression issues all at once. I also have social anxiety disorder, so it's hard to talk to other people about it.I have all of that. My hedgehog has a tumor in its stomach and we have to get it put down this week, I was the most attached to him in my family, so I might have to use the syringe. :'( hopefully not. Well, all these supposed fur friends of mine have made no effort to call, e-mail or text me. I am here at this con by myself and it sucks. This makes me hate furs now. I was hoping that this was the one chance in my life to make real friends, but it seems furs are just the same mean 'ol people. All I wanted was a couple of friends. 164 more days of school and im all ready starting to skip some work. dont have the motivation to do it, and im way to tired to do it. i get ~6 hours of sleep every night. i can get 2 more hours of sleep, but i'd rather spend that time with sciex. (my school really wants to throw me back to depression....)
a good thing tho is that iv got 3 more weeks of school till a week off, but after that iv still got 143 more school days, then 2 more years of high school.
One of the band teachers at my school died today. He got into a really bad car crash and was in a coma for 3 days before dying, He was one of those really awesome and relaxed guys who never let anything bother them or hold them back. He also was a really good teacher/mentor for a lot of students. Especially for us marching band kids. Rest in peace mate and I hope that you're better off wherever you are. :'(

Had to show them the confirmation email I got before they would let me take it. Of course, that meant I had to turn my phone on... during an exam... and then it starts ringing, which is sort of a problem.
Also, I almost got hit by a bus on the way home >.> The driver made some rather rude gestures at my after that.My boyfriend just left me... Had to get my brakes fixed and it was expensive.
My dog died. I found her laying down when I went to bring her her breakfast. She usually gets excited when she gets fed but she didn't even get up. I called her name and her leg twitched but she couldn't get up. I rushed to the phone to get someone to drive us to the vet but by the time I got back to her she was gone. She's buried beside the house. My uncle made her a cross to mark her grave. I miss her but to quote a song from the Muppets

Well I found out I bruised my shoulder from the 30-06. But I did go threw 5 boxes also the fact the rifle does fire a powerful round, it's still very sore :((each has 30 rounds in each box so 150 in total shot so it's to be expected, plus I still have 20 boxes left over)

have a head ache, and a hard time breathing currently due to this cold. my nose also hurts due to using lots of tissues, and im extreemly tired due to this cold, and due to my pe teacher making me run in a inclosed room, with the heater on, and with 30 other people in that room, with only a few water breaks.-_- You shouldn't exercise when your sick. Especially if your breathing is restricted; and if you have a fever, exercising would make it even worse.

just found out that there was a case of brain eating ameoba that affected some kid in a lake about 30 minutes from my home. this stuff has no cure, and kills within 5 days. so im a little terrified of that lake now
I've not slept since I heard about my friend. And now I've started feeling guilty for needing to eat, guilty for being alive. Something's going a little bit wrong in the way I'm processing things.
I don't know if they do here, I'm officially unemployed. The occasional bits of work I do are voluntary - I'm not an actual employee. And due to the large amount of unemployment and mental health issues, free counselling services here have a 6-12 month waiting period.I've not slept since I heard about my friend. And now I've started feeling guilty for needing to eat, guilty for being alive. Something's going a little bit wrong in the way I'm processing things.
I don't know if it's similar in the UK, but in the US most companies have an Employee Assistance Program with a number you can call. They either do what they can for you then and there or they might hook you up with a few therapy sessions, free of charge.
No one should go through that kind of grief alone, and maybe talking to someone can help you work through it.

sadly school is starting on Wednesday, so when i wake up today (1am) its going to be my last day before going through a bunch of stress, forced to socialize with people i dont like(without reason), forced to do presentations, and sitting alone during lunch (which both get more attention drawn onto me which is just something i hate)Yep school starts for me next Wednesday, I'm getting prepared to be scared and shy, I'm sometimes terrible at making new friends. I know nobody at the school I transferred to. Perris Union decided to not let my interdistrict transfer go threw, so I have to go to a different school. ALL my friends are at my old school, plus the school is super religious(private school, go figure :P ) and well I'm agnostic. So that makes it worse.

went to LA with my dad, brother, dad's gf, and her children for thanksgiving break and not im in quite a bit of pain...Sounds like angina pectoris.
we rented bicycles today and rode around for a bit. for some reason after getting back to the hotel i started experiencing alot of pain on the left side of my chest, slept for a bit and it hurt a little more, went out for dinner, then walked around for a bit, then we went back to the hotel because it hurt quite a bit (it hurts alot more when laying down which is what im doing right now)
no idea what is wrong but if this pain continues i might have to go see a doctor here (the 6 hour drive would be too uncomfortable for me)

I can't take the painkillers for my nerve disorder any more. They aggravate another problem. So I'm back to dealing with daily pain.

feeling really weird/uneasy at the moment.
just finished having dinner maybe 1-2 hours ago, went back upstairs to my room, and kinda dozed off at my desk. woke up at 3:10, 3:37 right now, and feeling extremely disoriented. have a slight head ache, collapsed onto the ground when i tried to get back on my chair having some trouble standing back up, forehead feels pretty warm so im guessing i might be getting sick.
still feeling heavily disoriented right now, so i have completely no idea what the hell is wrong with me..

I had to pay for the bedbug infestation treatment and I've got a few new bites. :'( Found out that the apt we are in is totally infested in multiple units and it was only a matter of time before they got to us. On top of that, the apt refuses to accept anything is wrong. Going to move out next year for sure, and keep vacuuming/washing with hot water/using rubbing alcohol. Hoping to get my new bed soon, as my old one was completely infested. :'(

An aircraft from one of my former units was involved in a midair collision. Seven people involved, two from that squadron, and five were just declared dead after SAR couldn't find them after a week of searching. Nobody knows who is living or dead until after next of kin have been notified.When I saw it on TV, I did wonder if you knew any of them or had a connection.

Altercation with neighbor lead to police being called and my neighbor received a ticket for harassment. He has a court date. I may have to appear.
(My property was vandalized and when i confronted him i was threatened. Later he retaliated again. He then argued with police officer and was almost taken to jail).
Nice fun way to end the year of 2018.

High groundwater in my neighborhood. Sump pump discharge pipe connection is broken. Had to call in a contractor for a temporary fix so the basement stays relately dry until they can dig and reconnect the line.

The emergency vet said she most likely had a blood clot due to to her meds for her Hyperthyroidism.

Went to a 3 day model contest this past weekend on Fri., Sat., and Sun.
What went bad:
a) Hotel where me and a friend stayed decided to cancel all their hot food items for their Continental Breakfast.
b) People (Possibly kids? ) were running back and forth down the hallway multiple times between 10pm and 11:30pm Saturday night which made it difficult to get to sleep.
c) Rained the entire weekend.
d) My friend that I went to the contest with was coming down with a cold.
e) Recieved "battle damage" to my model due to crowded table space. Wasn't my fault, but rather another person who wasn't watching what he was doing and knocked a part off my model. Luckily, it's easily repairable.

Thanks. No phone call today. On the other hand there was no rejection email, either, and Siiwolf (close friend who works there but in a different department) says that if I'm not selected they're required by law to send me a rejection email, but I'm not sure if that rule is enforced, so... yeah. Making plans to move out in the next couple of years, effectively ending my r/s with my once-mate.
It feels like a divorce and I've been working my tail off so I don't think about it, been crying a lot off and on this past year. The thought of living alone scares me, but healing is more important than being in a bad situation and worse, letting my behavior get out of control. My heart has been broken for a long time, and I knew this day would come eventually. :'(
I've fallen back into depression for the past month. I have mixed feelings toward someone right now(it's kinda complicated). Too many things are going on with me right now. Sleep has been pretty bad as of recently.

Try to squash that depression. It has held back many a good person from their better future. Find a good memory and recall it, if that helps you. Find a way to see what you have now is good too, because I bet good things exist, but are being hidden by depression. Sleep is the enemy of depression, and so is that exercise. I know it's easier for me to say it, rather than do it.
If you have feelings for someone, at least it means you feel and care, right? Better than the alternative. And why is it complicated, are they an upright walking and talking anthropomorphic animal and you have a crush on them? ;)
I hope you can resolve these feelings that have you down.

I wasn't sure whether to post this here or in the "Grind my Gears" thread. Either one would've been good I guess..
Anyway...........Just an FYI, FB (Facebook) has been trying to get users to try it's new site look. This was some sort of Beta change that started weeks or months ago. Changing the background, colors, buttons, and everything else about FB. I don't know about anybody else, but I don't like it. I prefer the "classic FB" look. Anyway, I got a popup message notifying me that FB will change to this new site look permanently starting in September. After that, you can no longer change back to the classic look.
How this will affect the groups and pages I manage (If anything.) is unknown. If the changes are too severe, I may have to delete all my groups.

I went to get tested today. They said that I'll get the results by the the day after tommorow at most. I'm not very worried as I'm low risk and my symptoms aren't severe but it's going to suck being stuck in complete isolation if I do have it. Honestly though, it's pretty amazing that I made it this far without even gaving to go into quarantine.Not feeling very well. Worried that I might have caught COVID.
If you have shortness of breath or other breathing problems, then that might be a sign you have Covid. Consult your doctor first and keep track of whatever symptoms you have.
Low risk is not no risk. I know you know.Wellt the results came back negative. I guess it was just a very bad cold or something.
If you have it and need to quarantine, thank you if you do so, as it might save someone who is higher risk. And of course I do not want you to have it. That would be very bad.

I have a 30cm tumour taking up the entirety of my abdomen from bladder to diaphragm. Iti s still unknown if it is cancerous.
In the next month I will be having major abdominal surgery to remove it, as well as to perform a complete hysterectomy (removal of the ovaries, womb and some associated tissue).

Hi Loc,From what I've been told, it is a single mass, partly fluid and partly liquid. It could be a cancer, a benign tumour, or an ovarian cyst gone insane. The original plan was to try and enact "fertility preservation" and just take the one ovary, run tests, and maybe put me back under as needed but as I was certain I don't want kids, we are taking the nuclear option and ripping out everything which, if it is cancer, it is likely to spread to first. Then if it is found to be cancer, I'll need to get hit with chemotherapy if we think it may not have been confined to the reproductive system. If it was confined or was non-cancerous then great, problem solved.

Well I got my results back tested positive for covid-19. I had a feeling i was positive currently can't taste or smell. The worst of it is over for the most part. Had terrible headaches but now I just feel stuffy and have a bad cough been staying home since last Wednesday.Oh man, I'm sorry. I'm glad you are young though!

I had to make an emergency dental appointment today. And there will be more dental appointments with an oral surgeon in the future as I need to have two teeth removed. :'(
So any leftover money from those gov't stimulus checks will now have to go toward dental work instead of a new fursuit and future cons.

Getting ready to go out and search stores for Caffeine Free Pepsi. My mom can't find it in stores where she lives, so I thought I'd hunt for it where I live. Supposedly, the rumor is that there is an aluminum shortage, so some soft drinks have been stopped being produced if the cans can't be made. My mom thinks that's bull and she believes the real reason is that Pepsi probably discontinued some flavors so that other new flavors could be made and introduced.
The last 7-8 days have not been good healthwise. :( Not going to say much, but was diagnosed with an infection which I am now taking antibiotics for. Had to go to the emergency room at the hospital briefly last Saturday too. Thankfully, that visit wasn't that bad. I can definately say it is not covid related in any way.

Not knowing the particulars on your Dodge's oil filter... are you saying that it is not as simple as tightening the filter canister?
If this vehicle has a remote oil filter canister, the seals on the adapter are probably leaky. This should not be THAT bad I hope.
