Here is a poem of mine to share.  Feeling love can be like a dream sometimes.  A dream we hold onto that makes life.  This one is for you Kada-Ru my dear.


Title: Dream Time..
    

When dawn comes and my dreams end,
I know you are asleep and dreaming of me
  
But your fire lives in my heart,
bringing happiness to my dreams
    
Separated by time and distance,
I ache forbidden to touch your dearest face
  
Yet your love shares no boundaries,
the world's walls can't hold back our dreams
  
Your most treasured love so enduring,
it has seen my hopes safely to yet another dawn
  
Most dearest love in you above all others I trust,
to safe keep my open heart whilst I keep yours
  
Dream of me my darling again tonight,
to always feel knowing you are so precious to me
  
Sometime soon the winds of mercy will bring you home,
and I will shed a tear to touch your face in this dream time...

What a great poem! I love the depth of emotion and the subtelty of the language. It is simultaneously seeking roses to smell despite the distance and hoping for a better future. It's using a dream to deal with reality. The duality of love and pain is exquisite. It's a really interesting poem, and I like some of the other subtle references, but they'd take too long to go into. Good job and I hope to see more.
