Title: Any recipes for mice?
Post by: jaime_lion on July 06, 2015, 08:34:47 am
So i got a mouse at the store its the USB wired connector species. I dont like the taste of the wireless species but I was wondering if anyone knew of any good recipes for them like stewing them or frying them? what kind of sides would pair well with them?

You might try marinading them in acetone to tenderize them a little before grilling...

Try looking up old Roman recipes. I know they had something  called 'door mice'.

Perhaps painting a face on it. Then make it a pet toy..  :D

Accually I saw a show where a naturalist was watching a Wolfs Lair. It was in a subartic area and he
noticed the wolves were mostly eating mice. So he decided to give it a try. I think he deep fried them.
Anyway he got along well eating them.

I don't think it would be a good idea using mice that live around humans though. Same with any
wild critter that lives on human refuse/garbage.. Gah.. x_x

First, tenderize with generous application of a hammer...
