Tea is kind of one of my weird obsessions in life. I try to source it as directly as possible from their growing regions, as soon after harvest as I can. It's always loose-leaf and takes sometimes a month to ship due to most of it coming from the other side of the world, but it's worth it. I brew it up traditionally; usually in tiny covered cups, and often keep detailed notes on the tasting experience.
I guess it comes off as borderline silly, but eh, I just treat tea-tasting as some people treat wine-tasting. Everyone needs a hobby, heh.
