Event was moved back a week due to a vendor presentation, then moved back another day due to a training day. I was not informed of the second move and unaware that chili was available until I was eating my own lunch. Returned from assignments at 1215, also hoping to get some chili, but it was put away. A huge pot that I couldn't possibly move or access to ladle a few scoops without help. So having a "Lunchable" now.

No, completely different. The Lava Lamp is filled with water and some sort of wax. Heated from below with a light bulb, the wax melts and rises and falls in globules. The Plasma lamp is a globe with low pressure gas and a high voltage electrode. It makes streamers that respond to touch.
