Title: Does this happen to you?
Post by: Gril on October 11, 2004, 02:05:39 am
Sometimes (often times) I'll be listening to a new song on the radio or TV, and I'm thinking "Wow, this would sound so much better with a thick bassline here, or if it would build more gradually to a grand climax at the end..." or weird stuff like that.  I tend to be dissatisfied with a lot of new bands out there because I'm picky about musical arrangement, and so if it's not right (IMHO), I rearrange it in my head and I want to hear *my* version instead of the one on the radio.  Then I'm not happy with it anymore and I don't like the song.   :p

Not too often, but it does happen occasionally.  I remember one song (can't think of the name at the moment) where I loved the verse, but couldn't stand the chorus.  I kept thinking to myself, no, it should change this way in the chorus, not that way.  I couln't listen to the song anymore because of that.  It just drove me crazy every time I heard it.
