Yep, I decided to submit to Furtopia and was granted a website!

Hello everyfur, my is Runtt, I'm a musical red panda from southern Maine. I write furry music for furs. My style varies, but it's mostly alt/rock with a punk edge. You can add British sonic underground pop to the mix, as well. My main instrument is drums/percussion, but I dable in piano, guitar, bass. and sing badly.

All of my music is multi tracked. I don't use computers. You can hear some Mp3's at my site WAH TRAX just click on my playlist. The lyrics are there, also. There will be more uploaded in the future.

Angry Wah - Hahaha! Funny as hell!
Crawl - Nice hamony,cool riff that reminds me of "The seeker" by the Kinks,dunno why.Great mixing,sounds very pro.I love this one.
Cuddle - Not my type of song,percussion could go up a bit more,its just a thought.

Keep up the good work.

Choky: The Kinks? Really? That's got to be one of the kewlest compliments I've gotten. I'm a big Kinks fan. But, I actually wrote Crawl as I went along. I had just gotten my 16 trk and laid down the drums, as an experiment, to test the machine out. I just played guitar to it, at random, and the signature riff was born. Took me 4 years to complete it. I kept getting side tracked with other recording prodjects.

The drums on Cuddle are low on purpose. I wanted them to be more of a back ground pulse, lost in a wall of sound. If you heard the bands I'm trying to emulate, you'ld understand. >"^_^"<

Good stuff, and as Baby Tiger and others have said, nice to see another furry musician on the board.

My favorite of the three has to be crawl. I can hear the kinks influence as well, especially in the vocals. I've noticed myself that often songs that start off as just fooling around or experimentation end up becoming the best songs you write.

Actually, the song I consider my crowning achievement, as far as 'furry', is "Welcome - The Furry Forest Theme". It was also my first 'official' furry song. I'm going to upload the Mp3 in a seperate folder, under my furry band "The Paw Offs".

It has become an underground furry anthem, much to my surprise. It has also been used for a German con highlites video. >"^_^"<

...Would that be The Furry Music Foundation Website by perchance? That's how i got "Welcome", "Crawl" and "Cuddle" a number of months back...

(that site's file transfer rate is somewhat crummy to me however...) Â
