Northern Fox: Centre of the Sun
« on: May 07, 2006, 03:03:33 pm »
Today I finished my solo album, Centre of the Sun.

Tracks:

1. Journey to the Sun - 3:50
2. Centre of the Sun - 5:01
3. Glitch in the System - 4:57
4. No Way Out - 4:29
5. Lost - 3:00

The album will be available to buy for £3.99 from Cafepress, Garageband (An unsigned band website, nothing to do with Apple's software), and possibly some other sites if I can find them. I will ask permission from the Mods to post a link to track 4 on Garageband.

The album is based around this concept:

The concept of this album comes from the idea that in the near future we will be able to travel into the sun without burning up. The main theme is of space travel, journeying to the centre of the sun, but a strange godly force corrupts the spacecrafts systems, leaving them to get lost in outer space.

I have never managed to finish anything this huge before.

*Squees*

Anyone else done albums themselves, concepts?

Lost has grown! Longer now, not sure HOW long, but quite a bit.

and here is the link to my personal site on garageband, where you can listen to an older (not well mixed) version of No Way Out

Foxie is getting known!

An artist in Edinburgh, very well known in Italy, The Acid Facists, has commended me, after they were shown a copy of my album in Edinburgh, and said they already knew about me, and listen to the whole thing, and said it was awesome. they've left a comment on my myspace saying i'm really talented, and a very well known band Goblins would love my stuff, so I'm about to go find them.

God I'm hyper about this!!
