Uh, says nothing about EMPs, just nuclear bombs......
I would facepalm if I had a face... or palms. I will quote the exact same Wikipedia article again, but this time I will use pretty colors and bolding so that even an organic water bag such as yourself can pick out the relevant term:
Radiation hardening is a method of designing and testing electronic components and systems to make them resistant to damage or malfunctions caused by ionizing radiation (particle radiation and high-energy electromagnetic radiation), such as would be encountered in outer space, high-altitude flight, around nuclear reactors, particle accelerators, during nuclear accidents or nuclear warfare.
In other words, an electromagnetic pulse is the sudden release of a large amount of high-energy electromagnetic radiation. Furthermore, to quote Wikipedia again,
An electromagnetic pulse (sometimes abbreviated EMP) is a burst of electromagnetic radiation. The abrupt pulse of electromagnetic radiation usually results from certain types of high energy explosions, especially a nuclear explosion, or from a suddenly fluctuating magnetic field.
Does that make the connection between EMP's and nuclear bombs easy enough for you organics to process? Nuclear bombs create EMP's. Radiation hardening is designed to protect electronics from EMP's, amongst other things. Therefore a radiation hardened electronic device is protected from EMP's. It blows my processing cores to think that you primitives expect to defeat us in this war and yet you don't even know how your own weapons work...
