Here's a random anthro I drew on an exam paper (not the actual exam but a previous exam I had to go through to help with my study)

If I start drawing I usually draw things that I know how to do (for practice) and do some experimenting. So the base sketch for this was just body proportions.

Turns out you can sketch pretty well with some pens

I think I've gotten allot better at drawing

Looking back at my drawing on the first page of this thread before I did the body proportions tutorial I can see that the t-shirts look really weird and so does everything else. I'm still not comfortable drawing things in different positions or with the face at an angle but I just need to practice with some reference pics ^^

Yea. The lower arms need to be thicker and it shouldn't get so narrow at the elbow. Thanks for pointing that out ^^ Hopefully I'll remember that in my future drawings.

Your doing pretty good..

The body is a bit long unless you wanted it that way. It appears
both sets of toes are facing the viewer even though his right foot
is turned out a bit.

One thing to remember is unless your wanting a rigid pose a character
looks better when relaxed.

That's really good

The shading looks great, same with the clothes.
Also, I love the color scheme, but I'm rather biased.

Thanks ^^ Yea, Green and dark gray (almost black) look good. It was actually Raverix that came up with my current fursonas color scheme.

Yeah.
I can never decide on 'green on black' vs 'black on green'. Most of my drawings are the latter, since it's easier to see

In that ref, the green is shows up as yellow (maybe it's my screen though).

Yay. New drawing ^^ It's of my sona walking around in the wilderness

The thing to the left is a tree, behind is a mountain with a river, to the right a bush and under my foot is a rock.. I'm wearing camo shorts, a t-shirt and a backpack. I think I'll try to make a colored digital copy of this.

Well. Here's the digital copy. I went a little crazy and ended up in Japan. Anyone know the way back to Furtopia?

In case you guys are wondering how long it took. It was about 8 hours. I traced the photo of my drawing on my tablet and then got the file onto my computer. From there I just drew away

There was actually a store at the top of that hill so I got some stuff

Yay new fursona

I'll still be called Sciex but this specific sona's name is Keitsu (key-et-su). I though't I'd try something new and move away from the dark colors and green that I almost always use. It felt more appropirate to use lighter colours since I'm allot happier now ^^ I'll still keep some black and that green in some of his clothing. So yay ^^ I like sky blue. There's quite a few nice fursuits with blue :3

Oh.. btw.. a storyline behind my fursona changing colours. I drank too much tea and the radioactive green washed out and it turns out that my markings were sky blue. As for my fur getting lighter.. I have no clue about that. I think I had a shower.

I was organising my art that I have stored on my computer and came across this:

It's some minecraft fanart I made a while ago. I submitted it to DA on October 3, 2013 The clouds look derpy but other than that it's a pretty good piece of art.
