Jazzy new song from the mephit
« on: January 19, 2005, 03:38:25 pm »
Just finished and posted a new song to my site.  It's This song is for a contest on the KVR Audio forum.  There is talk of putting the best songs entered on a KVR feature CD.

The song has a jazzy feel to it.  The drums in it were done in Reason using the brush kit in the reason Drum refill.  Keyboard parts were done in Reason as well.  The guitar and vocals were recorded using Tracktion.

Male vocals were sung by me and the female vocals by my fiance' Dawn.

Finally, here is the song:  Come

Thanks for the comments Choky, I'm glad you liked it.

I grew up in the 80's listening to heavy metal, which is probably why I didn't associate this with the 80's sound.
