Okay, here's a question for all of you technical music or wiring furs out there.
I've got my current bass guitar and amp. The amp's nothing special, but it has a headphone jack so you can play silently, just for you. What I'm proposing to do, is take two ends, one as a microphone end, and one as a headphone end. I'm planning to link them together, thereby enabling me to play guitar straight to a music file. Okay... It all sounds good, but I have a few qestions. For an output to an input, would I have to switch the wires as to make incoming transmissions different polarity as outgoing ones?
I dont know if that made any sense... and I could probably buy one of these, for dirt cheap. But, I have plenty of cord lying around, and I'm a cheapskate when it comes to stuff I could build myself. ^__^
