I didn't know where to post this topic but I have a feeling it's related to furry conventions.

I'm confused. What exactly is the "Stuck In The Elevator Club" and how does one join?

I'm not too sure, but I get the feeling it's like the I Swallowed A Fly club, where you have to have accidentally done so in order to join.

Feldy: Because while browsing pics of fursuits at furcon websites a long time ago, I saw a sign in the background of a pic that mentioned something about the Stuck In The Elevator Club.

At FWA, a group of 12 furs and one fursuiter climbed into an elevator....this is our story.

We attempted to travel to another place (the 3rd floor) and too late we realized our mistake.

So there we were.....stuck between the 2nd and 3rd floor. Sweating, and distressed, we called frantically for help. Fortunately, one of us (me) was smart enough to use the call button. After telling the magical call button of this stupid predicament, the lights flickered, and we traveled safely back down to the 2nd floor, where we all piled out.

When you see a sign that says "Weight Capacity" it's best NOT to ignore it!

Oh Peaches, you left out all of the good details.

It was extremely funny because we were talking about whether or not we were overloading the elevator as we got in.

As the elevator went up it started slowing down and we started talking about it some more.... then it stopped and didn't do anything. I think that is when Shippy screamed like a girl and Wylde started taking pictures. We really should link the pics to this thread (Tei or Wylde, please)

Then after some funny comments we decided to call and soon after we slowly started back down to the 1st floor. Some of us wanted to try again.... NOT! We were all happy to be freed from there, but I must say, if I had to be stuck in an elevator at a con I couldn't have picked better company

To become a member you must attend FWA in February and try to lure us back on.... I would suggest using pixie sticks!

I do feel sorry for the lone fursuiter that was in the elevator. Being surrounded by 12 other furs and also wearing a suit, the heat musta been unbearable.

The old Adams Mark; AC04.

20th floor.

Power went out in the elvator about 30 seconds.

7 clinically obese people seeing what will happen if they jump up and down.

Power comes back and the elevator goes all the way down.

15 minutes later reaching my room on the 21'st floor.

Good ol' AC.

This my friends, is why I took the stairs this past AC. Including when I went up to Sporty's on like the 14th floor.

On a related note, we broke the elevator here in my dorm a little while ago. Its a pretty normal elevator, and we managed to shove 29 people from floor in it. ':p'

We tried to go from floor 1 to floor 3, and ended up below floor A (floor A is the Tunnel system, its below the first floor, there is nothing below A).
