Awesome dude! Glad you were able to go.

So what's the inside scoop? Why did the fursuit parade turn into a slow moving parking lot?

Oh that became common knowledge?   


Basically at the end,  the fursuiters were supposed to circle around a large round table and double back over.  Most of them got confused over this and needed urging to go around the table.  On top of that,  the route was probably too long and went down a broken escalated that was essentially a staircase.

Changes are being made next year to avoid these problems.

I'm hooked on watching con videos. Usually one of the first 10 to 50 views. Most of the Furry Fiesta videos out now are of the parade. Wouldn't want to walk down a staircase in some of those feet. Can see where that could be a problem. And here I thought it was a few fursuiters having to much fun.

Actually,  it seems so few things at this con were caught on camera.  I can't find opening or full closing ceremonies anywhere.

Seen most of those. Looks like it was a fun con! Things were probably filmed but not on line yet. Or not good enough to share.  Filmed or not you were there. Got to experience it all!

...Actually, it really isn't possible for anyone to experience *all* of any con (it's a feat that would even give Hermoine Granger a run for her money).  Having said that, I can say from firsthand experience that you experience far more of a con by attending in person as compared to watching Youtube videos.  Lupus in Tabula moments from MFF, for instance, almost never make their way there.  Moreover, there really isn't any comparison when it comes to getting to see friends in person.
