Besides food the last thing I bought was a new computer headset.  Plantronics Gamecom, normally about $100, but I got it for like $25 off :)

About $100 worth of groceries, and DVD's of "An American Werewolf in London" ( <-- Cult classic!) and "I, Robot".

A Casio Data Bank CA53W-1 Calculator wristwatch, so I can rock it like it's 1983!  Yeah!  I can now do arithmetic on a computer attached to my wrist, dudes!  The future is now!   :D

Some other not quite as totally awesome things that I bought with along the wristwatch today include:
  • A DVD set of 9 episodes from the 1983 animated series, Dungeons & Dragons, which I can watch while wearing my rockin' Casio Databank calculator watch!
  • The My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic "Adventures in Ponyville" DVD so that I can get my daily Cheerilee fix!  Cheerilee also rocked it in 1983, apparently!
  • The Dreamworks "Puss in Boots" Double DVD pack, which actually came with a little Beanie Baby of Puss in Boots!  Awww!  Adorable!
  • Some more Dreamworks love in the form of the Penguins of Madagascar: Operation Get Ducky DVD.  What can I say, the character Marlene the otter is kind of a looker!
  • Three refill spools of black embossing tape for my beloved Dymo "Organizer Xpress" embossing label gun.  I gleefully use this label gun to label all of my computers with their names, and when you have a collection of over 90-computers you go through a lot of embossing tape!  But hey, if it means that I can name two Rackable C1001 rackmount servers "Rarity" and "Twilight Sparkle," a SGI Indy "Spitfire," and a Sun SPARCstation 5 "Wonderbolt" and have them all actually labeled so that I can tell which ones that they are then buying a little bit of embossing tape every now and again is more than worth it!  :D

If those recent purchases aren't mind-blowingly incredible enough for you, I also went back to the WCRA Mid-Winter Hamfest this year!  For those of you who don't remember, I also listed all of the cool stuff that I bought at the hamfest in this thread last year.  This year I bought *way* too much weird but incredible stuff at the hamfest to text-wall this thread with, so if you are interested in reading a detailed account about my trip to the hamfest along with a list of all of the fascinating treasures that I unearthed there, you can find it posted at my Foxee Animatronic Robot Project Blog here:

http://www.robotfox.com/

It involves a MFJ-1278 Multi-Mode Data Controller with Multi-Gray Level and 2400 MODEM, and a digital camera that actually saves its photos to floppy disk-- you won't want to miss out on reading about that!!!

$100 of groceries

Jack London's "Call of the Wild" movie DVD

A pair of shoes for $49 and a pair of boots for $53 for a total (with tax) of $105. Both were on sale though, and I saved myself a total of $70. :)

A limited edition Android Antigravity Tungsten Toubillon watch... and a tungsten bracelet to go with it.
And I'll be broke for about four decades xP
