Commisioned art piece
« on: February 14, 2019, 09:16:46 pm »
I have been working with an artist for some artwork for Umbra.

Just got back the first black and white render and wanted to share :)

(hoping to tweak this and get a reference sheet eventually).

So,

After talking with some other artists and thinking about the parts I like and dislike I have another comission lined up for a V2 .

Focusing more closely on anthro anatomy and muscle structure to get the torso and some other parts ironed out a bit better.

Will keep posting updates to this thread :)

I had a very quick chat with you over TS about my opinions which can be summed up here as "Neato :D Love it!"

My advice with regards to the stomach scales would be to perhaps use something like a photo of a snake belly for reference - Snakes have the very large plate-like stomach scales going into the smaller scales of the sides, and might give an idea of how to make it look a bit less harsh and a bit more natural.
