I would love to go.  I'm currently trying to get my studio partners to go with me should we have the time and funds.  We hit lots of anime conventions throughout the year promoting our goods and doing panels, so I'm going to try and get some panelwork for us (this would be our first furry con) as well as a dealer table.

It's way worth it. The hotel should cost you $318 (or $212 if you come on friday) and pre-registration is $35.

On a side note: If you plan on going, pre-register, or you will have to wait in a 2 hour line - Seriously. Pre-resgister, no lines, it's really nice.

Hope you can make it. '<img'>

After taxes and other hotel fees it's around $365 for the three days, I forget what the exact total was when I made my reservations but it was somewhere around that fiquire.
If you can't get your partners to go there are lots of furs here looking to share a room with someone!

That'll be something I might just have to take into consideration.  Thanx!

I am hoping to go to AC this year too, but I need to make myself a schedule for the trip.
Is there anyone that lives in the Philadelphia area, or plans on staying there a little longer than just July 7-10?
I got a really long way to travel (across the atlantic) so I don't want to return home after just 4 days (just the trip is costing me $1000), and since i'm traveling alone I really need to find someone to hang out with, and/or travel around with a bit before or after AC..

I am looking for some roommates too. I got one, but we haven't booked a room yet (since he doesn't have a credit card, and i'm not 100% sure about the trip yet)

I need to figure this out fast.. I want to go

Alas, it seems that I was a bit too late for a dealer table, so it looks like I may have to go with Artists Alley should I be able to make it.  To any and everyone who's had experience with the AA at AC--
1) What is it like?
2) How early does one have to get up before official sign-up starts to get a table?
3) How much traffic does the AA get compared to/along with the Dealer's Room?

If anyone can answer these for me, I'd be so ever grateful. I'll probably post more questions as I think of them.

Sorry, all--
July means Family Vacation. Usually Relatives fly here and we spend Fourth of July week at MouseLand. (Heads up, Katty!'<img'>

So I'll have to be satisfied with all the pictures you take and hearing all the stories you tell.

But hey, FWA is only 76 days away, I'll get to see you all soon!
 '<img'>

Whoa---News from the Family--Vacation plans CHANGED!!
does this mean I can attend AC?

It looks good...Maybe I can!
Who'd share thier room with the Tiger? '<img'>

How do I contact AC programming?
I sent them an email last week about hosting a panel, but I got no response.

Maybe they aren't interested in a "hands on animatronics" panel.
Or maybe I'm too late for this year.

---
I am also looking for people to stay in my room.
2 spaces left.
Must be X-rated kink friendly.

PS: The hotel look like it's completely booked on the 6th
So I had to book the room starting on the 7th

Edit:
Calling it an x-rated room is probably overkill...
I'm just tired of people that get irked over a little yiff.

Ok.  I'm definately going -- I'm planning on driving up 95, so let me know if anyfur needs a ride that is somewhat off of 95 (this is most of the major Atlantic cities).

Grumble -- yiff doesn't bother me and I need a room, so let me know if you still have room available....

Well Rick, if me and Las go, you and RK can room with us and it'll be FWA all over again for us! '<img'> ^_^ w00t!

I really want to go and if I can get a job in time and save some money, I can definitly go. I don't think Tyler would be able to go because of his job and stuff, but still, all four of us in a room will severely cut the costs for the room at AC, those rooms are exPENsive lol. ^___^

And to correct Daddy....15 days to FWA! Be prepared!

Rick, as far as I know the rooms are already being booked and if we don't decide yes or no soon, they may all be booked if we end up saying yes too late...>.<

I want to go, I'm just not sure about money..that's my biggest deal.

I'll be there.  Room and roomies are lined up. Still need to register though...
As for there not being a line for pre-reg? Pshh.  There was *indeed* a line, but it was more a 20-minute wait than a 2-hour one.  :K)

I'm thinking about going, and just taking the train, but I still need to do more planning

Bah, I have like no money right now, or at least not enough to register a room for three or four nights there....  I could chip in for some of it, but for 4 nights it's like $636 total....  I'm not that rich  '<img'>

o.O 4 nights? Are you crazy? Just stay two, jeez. Lol. Its a lot cheaper that way and when you try to cut the price with roomies it won't be that bad. If we all ended up going, you and RK could stay the night before here at Las's house with us, then leave out the day of the con, seeing as we're not too awful far from it, and stay two nights then come back here and let you guys sleep for a night before you head back down '<img'> '<img'>

I dunno if that plan would work, but it's well worth the try, isn't it? o.O

I'll be at AC! Dealers table 73! (I'm listed as A Quiet Dark)

Hopefully I'll have a place to stay while I'm there... 'cause my friends are being weird about rooming stuff. =P

One thing I noticed is that the 6th is taken as far as the con rate is concerned. I had to make my reservation starting on the 7th.

I'm looking for weird rooming stuff.

I hope we're not too late for the rooms either. But look at it this way, if we are we can probably room at a cheaper hotel close by to the con lol! '<img'> Its Philly, so yeah, there will be plenty of places to stay close to the con '<img'>

what did you mean by the 6th is taken Grumble?
