Anybody have any favorite oriental foods they like.......or dislike?

I myself like beef, chicken, or shrimp teriaki.

Beef stir fry is good too. And I also like egg rolls and crab rangoon.

I could happily eat only fried rice forever. Especially the leftover stuff that sat in the fridge overnight and that has just been microwaved. Mmmmm, leftovers!

Sesame beef, pepper beef, and beef and broccoli are also good. So is orange chicken.

Well, last night I went to an Indian restaurant and had Chicken Honey Mossala, which was soooo goood.

Also, caramel coconut chicken is pretty good

...And I can go on for hours

I really liked the glass noodles I used in my stir fry

and soy sauce is really good for giving noodles some extra flavour.

I also eat quite a bit of Tofu as it's one of my main sources of protein (I'm a vegan)

I like to marinate firm tofu during the day and then cook it in the afternoon.

I like the "extra firm" tofu. I'll fry that stuff on the stove, season it with small amounts of onion powder, curry, ginger, and other things, and then add it to a scented, fragrant rice.

As for drinks, gunpowder tea is really good. I highly recommend it. It's a green tea with a much stronger and more complex flavor than other green teas I've tried.

I'm about to move to a much bigger city. One of the things I'm actually excited about and looking forward to is exploring the grocery stores and seeing what they have for Asian/international foods.

sushi, roast beef, caviar, steak, pork chops, pizza, tofu, salmon, apples, berries,pears, beans, corn, salami, spanish ham, ah heck with it i eat everything

Mmmm... Thai curry is pretty amazing, even if it's hot enough to make your nose run.

Mongolian beef, pad Thai, Vietnamese sandwiches, any kind of eggroll, pho, sushi, sashimi, curry (Indian, Thai), bamboo shoots, leeks, Japanese soda, Thai iced tea, milk tea (especially rose!) and pretty much anything else except for scorpions, rats, and fish with their eyes intact...

I like a lot of oriental foods, though my signature oriental dish that I only make on special occasions is Yakitori Chicken Skewers that have been marinated in a Sweet Saki, Ginger, Garlic, Green Onions, glaze that I've cooked down, served with with a black tea, jazmin rice, snow peas, and a little bit of the sauce on the side.

Most Chinese restaurants carry a dish typically called "Singapore noodles" or something to that effect; it is amazing.
Additionally, there is a noodle dish I love that I can't seem to find in many places. I don't know the English name, but it is called 担担面 (dandan mian) in Chinese.

Dude, you just reminded me, we have lobster tails in the big freezer! *Runs to the freezer while making loud whooping and laughing sounds*. Oh yea, egg fu yong or something like that.
