Some are  arranging fursuit friendly  private showings.

I read the article, too. I'll bet Zootopia will have a bigger impact on furry fandom than what I originally thought. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see press coverage somewhere about furry-only showings of the film.

A reminder Under rule 7 : Advertising or Posting links to other forums is against the
rules here.  If you wish to tell a friend about one PM or email them.

Posts/links about fan sites and other non forum news sites are fine. I imagine there
will be several for Zootopia fans in the future.

i am preparing for a wave of fan art in the upcoming weeks. good thing the anthro animals are just for more than kids in the mainstream. this could actually motivate furry content creators to up the quality of the work, according to some greymuzzle friends , most of the furry stuff out there is rookie quality at best, shameless fanservice at worst.

The same could be said of pretty much all art on the internet, not just furry art.

I'm getting pretty antsy about waiting to see this film. And between this and Rock Dog, tis a good year for furries and furry musicians.

I just saw the movie,  and everything was really cute, it was funny at some moments. Was it predictable? A bit sometimes. It's fuuuuuull if puns, like everything is a pun, they probably had furs in mind to be honest. Overall, I liked it.

OH MAN.

As always, I won't spoil a thing, but I will say that this film is a new top favorite contender.

I was SUPER impressed with the animation, story, and everything. Judy and Nick are adorable characters, and I'm just in love with the whole film. I'm definitely buying it ASAP when it's available.

Amusingly, my party of three became two, since my other friend went to the wrong theatre and went in without contacting us first. That was pretty funny.

But yeah, we all had a great time. If you're curious about seeing it, you definitely should.

I loved this movie!

I was so worried it would be bad and over-hyped, but it still blew my expectations away.

The animation was great, it was constantly funny and the story was clever. Nick and Judy both looked fantastic and were cast well. I probably saw it too many times.. :-[ I just couldn't wait for it to be released on blu-ray!

Might even be seeing it again next weekend.

Pfft, no pay, yeah right.  I could understand if it was a charitable organization, but honestly.

Yea really..  I wouldn't even do a drawing for a buisness for nothing unless it
was a charity or a friend. Makeing a fursuit is an expensive time consuming job.

It's a con to get one for free no doubt..

I'm thinking about seeing it again before next weekends premieres knock it off of the primary screens.
There's a proper 15/70 IMAX theater not too far away, so I might go there to see it on the big screen.

To be fair the theater offer free food an admittance. Seeing some pictures I believe  was a charity event. Local police were involved.

Sadly, I probably won't get to see it until it comes out on Netflix or AmazonPrime...

I too was worried about it being over-hyped, but reading your guys' reviews (thank you by the way) really dispells my doubts.  :)
My fur will be on-end 'till I get to see it  :) Can't wait.
