Furry Crafts

I'd like to suggest another topic/section for the Furry Arts Discussion:  Furry Crafts.

This could be broadly defined as anything that's not drawn/painted/sculpted  art, or a fursuit.

Some examples of what I mean:
plushies
ornaments
cross-stitch/needlepoint
clothing, quilts, sewing in general
blankets
crochet/knitting

Just a thought.  ^_^

Although adding another subject/forum sounds nice and does have merit, I think some of the stuff you mentioned could actually fit in the Artwork Announcements and Fursuiting Forums that we already have. In fact, I made a thread long ago to get people interested in talking about plushies and such in the Fursuiting Forum:

My thoughts are that anything such as knitting, sewing, stitching, clothing, would fit in the fursuiting forum as this is the forum that deals with these kinds of issues. I'll pass along your suggestion to the rest of the staff and see what they think. '<img'>

My mistake; I interpretted 'Sharing & Artistry' as a forum to show & talk about things the original posters personally did not do/create themselves.  It's good to know that we can put our own designs & work there, too.

Noted.  I personally wouldn't expect to see any furry-motif  blankets, knit scarves, or cross-stitched patterns in Fursuiting, unless they were incorporated with an actual fursuit.   But I recognize that these things need to go somewhere, & Fursuiting can be as good a place as any other.

I have to agree with Kwan that all that Fursuiting section's not the first place that comes to mind when it comes to blankets and etc...
Maybe it's because of the forum's description:

Got a fursuit? Working on making a fursuit? Tips of the trade are welcome to be shared here!

Personally (as an example) if I wanted to share a, say, knit blanket with furry theme, I'd probably turn to the sharing and artistry forum, or general furry. It's probably because of the forum's names and descriptions...
