Live Chat

It might be well to have someplace immediately accessible on the site, or on the splash screen before the client loads, that explains how to use the Live Chat client with the promient link at the top of the page.

Nobody in #furtopia seems to know anyplace to find info on how to use it either.

I mean, unles the whole point is to be insular and haze people not familiar with it. In which case, carry on.  '<img'>
In that silence, there may be sleeping
Not only the jungle cry of dryopithecus
But also a supernormal melody
Not to be heard for, perhaps, another million years.

See the link at the top of the page "live chat?" '<img'>

So, let me know if you guys know anyplace that's got an explanation. Thanks.

EDIT:
Also, BTW, when you recommend Trillian to people, it might be well to make them aware that it's grayware-- or at least the present download that comes from Cerulian is; it asks about installing some things, but installs a couple things without asking.

mIRC is the IRC client of choice of most IRC users that don't use the webclient.  It costs $20, but you can download a free 30-day trial at their website, and the trial program doesn't cripple itself after the trial period is over like some trial software, so you could use it indefinitely.

With any IRC client, the server to connect to is irc.furtopia.org, port 6007.
   Now,
       let's go play, together...
Together under the
             clearest of blue skies.
