Okay, I know what everyone is going to say: just use Pounced.org. Still, I think it would be a good idea to have a furry singles board. Single furs could post threads about themselves and other furs could browse and ask questions, etc.

I say this because not everyone on Furtopia is on Pounced, and Pounced can be kind of creepy sometimes, and it's also limited to the 18+ group. (Not that that affects me, but still.)

It's probably been suggested before, but I bet if you took a poll a lot of furs would be interested.

Hmm... Furtopia is a place of friendly discussion, not a dating network.

Dating networks seem to attract unwelcome guests, and spam.

Not to mention the very act of interacting on a forum is conducive to building friendships, which can lead to more. The difference is that it will occur naturally here. Also hanging out on IRC is another good way to strengthen the friendships that start here. There have been more than a few romances that started here on Furtopia.

I've seen boards add a dating section and losr a lot of members because the creeps that join trying to get into someone's pants scared them off.

this includes me running from a few boards I joined because of the, "hey you posted in the singles bored wanna *insert sexual comments*"
