I was wondering one night whilst tryin to sleep how hard it is for some people to talk to people about being furry (like myself) or hav already come out about being furry and are being victimised and anything else like that.

And i came up with a free helpline set up to help people with this problem. It is along the same lines as samaritans but on the other end would be furries offering advice that could help and make sense.

An interesting idea to say the least. You might also want to stop by furtopia's IRC and possibly hang around the life problems channel. It's usually deserted when I'm on but I suppose you could do that if some folk feel shy about talking to someone on the phone.

I know I enjoy talking on the phone but don't like discussing my problems except through text chat. It seems impersonal but I like it that way, it can help me remain detached.
