Animal adoption?
« on: August 31, 2010, 08:36:53 am »
Whether you're a furry or not, we all share the love of animals right? Everyday animals are put down due to overcrowding in shelters and it is sad. How about an adoption board to add alittle more hope for these animals? From shelters to a fellow fur giving away free puppies. I don't think it can hurt. Be kinda call to have success stories come out of it. :3

Hehe, I was going to direct you to this board for your idea, but I think I had forgotten to, and then I just realized you made a post here anyways  :D

So yeah, would be nice... Just make sure to make sure that whatever you're getting, that its legal to have said animal where you are (ie, some places have bans on certain animals, and even the building you are in (ie, in an appt or renting a room or something) may have its rules on pets)

There's already tons of adoption websites and forums on the Net already that can be used. I don't see the need to have one here.

Yeah... it's a nice idea, but I don't think it would realy work here, given how rarely the topic comes up. Also, keep in mind that we're all scattered all over the world, so it's unlikely someone would actually be near enough to a given animal to come and pick them up.
