People posting in a topic are not counted in 'viewing topic/board' list

You know how there is a list of people currently viewing a board? It seems that this is broken, as people who are making a post are not counted as viewing, it, and while technically, no, they are not exactly from a literal standpoint, they are still /on/ the board so to speak, form a user perspective.

I don't understand what you mean.  There have been many times when I have seen somebody else's name appear on a thread as a viewer when their present action according to the server was something like "making post in thread XXX".  The activity resets with page loads and refreshes (which, unless I'm mistaken, might/should include clicking the "Preview" button).

...Or are you saying that this happens only when viewing the active user list of an entire board?

Really? I was consistently seeing that people who were posting were not being listed on either the topic or board views...
Maybe some tests should be conducted tomorrow night... If I have time.

Ok, I just noticed it happening with the threads, but I also noticed it happens on the boards too, and that was a more consistent observation.
Maybe your server just doesn't like me.

...Are you looking at your own status?  If you're looking at your own status, the server thinks you're no longer editing a post.

Keep in mind that the Who's Online list only shows your *last* activity on the forums. So if you start replying to a post, then open up Active Topics in a new tab, then close that tab and continue writing, you're still going to show up as "viewing a list of recent topics," not as making a post.
