Twilight's Beckons (PG, short poems)
« on: May 27, 2011, 12:08:24 pm »
Meh, I'm not sure if I'm allowed to revive my older short poems thread, since it's been dead since December, so I'm just starting another one since these are disconnected from the previous ones in terms of general themes and ideas.

Twilight's Beckons

1. Wolf walks twilit paths.
Aware of vernal beauty,
he keeps a slow pace.

2. Hawk-eyed demon stalks
prey through darkest night shadows.
Cries the Great Horned Owl!

3. Twilight gleams over land.
Sunset reflections at sea.
Dolphins splash day's end.

4. Shadows greet masked
critters scavenging garbage.
Raccoons' breakfast time.

5. Wandering forest,
Coyote seeks moonlit pleasure,
hunting wounded deer.

6. Twin-striped mammal wafts
his vile odor warningly as
he takes evening walks.

If only you were to mend all of them together, that would be cool. :)
Next time, I'll collect the money, and you can die!
The perfect blossom is a rare thing. You could spend your life looking for one, and it would not be a wasted life.
