We know this probably sucks, but we wanted to get it out to the world anyway. We've felt this way for a while, but we weren't sure how to voice it.
Would You Miss Me?
Drowning in my sorrow
Sins left for you to bear
It seems all I've ever done is take
And you always tried to care
I can't find my way again
It's gone from my sight
My heart leads itself nowhere
All the while burned with spite
Life seems to be weary of
putting up with the likes of me
But I can't bear to end it all
without trying once more to see
In the end it wouldn't matter
if i was gone and dead
and everyone I've ever know
would have no tears to shed.
Would you miss me if i was gone?
would you miss me if i died?
Would you miss me if i was leaving
and it was only i who cried?
I know it seems selfish
to think of just my pain
But did you ever stop and really think
could it really be a gain?
My deeds are noted in a moment
then forgotten instantly
Bringing all the pain that comes with loss
such as pain and misery.
A thousand times I've tried to help others
trying to make a change
But there's no value in self-sacrifice
in fact to most it's rather strange
In short there's no more need for
the things i've tried to be
So the only question i have now
is will you remember me?
