Mu Alpha Theta Nat'l Convention
« on: July 24, 2004, 04:36:21 am »
For those who don't know what this is, I copy+pasted this from their site: "Mu Alpha Theta is a National Mathematics Honor Society encompassing over 65,000 students in more than 1,400 schools. We are dedicated to inspiring keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics in high school and two-year college students."

The national convention is basically a huge mathematics competition, averaging about 600 competitors from around the US. It's in Huntsville, Alabama this year (ick. Humidity. x_X), so it's quite the trek for me :P Hopefully, my suitcase will be a little heavier on the way back! haha

Anyways, just posting to see if anyone else from the boards is planning on going to this... I only knew one fur that went last year, and he can't make it to this one. xD
