Christmas 2020

So how was your Christmas?

What did you give to others?
What did you get from others?
What did you have for Christmas dinner?
Any other activities?

Here's the thread to tell all.

christmas, it was the same as any other day for me. I'm just thankful that fir right now I have a roof over my head and I'm not sleeping in my car. I don't need anything more than that.

But I did gift myself some new transformers... sorta. I preordered them a while back and they released. that counts right?

Just spent the holiday with my mom. Had baked ham and scalloped potatoes for dinner.
I gave my mom another James Patterson mystery book, 3 gift cards, and 5 DVD movies.
Gifts from my mom to me will be late. I don't mind as I told her she could just give them to me when my birthday comes up in about 3 1/2 months which isn't that far away.
I also got a $50 gift certificate to a local hobby store from a friend.

I did a zoom meeting with family,  and this time I was too tired to do a dinner for myself,  so I ate some soup and had pudding for a desert.
Wanda had her over priced dog food.

Gave Mom and sister gift cards for McDonalds and Taco Bell. Also instant lottery tickets, and they both won cash. My godson was given gift cards for Sonic and Little Caesar's, also an instant lottery ticket. He won't be in town for a few weeks though, so dropped them off at his parents' home. My sister left my gift at Mom's.

I received a $50 grocery store card and some lottery tickets--no winners. Bought myself model rocket kits of Skylab Saturn V and Saturn 1b. Had coffee cake and Polish sausage for breakfast (tradition), skipped lunch and had beer-battered fish fillets for dinner.

Both me an mom are on strong  immune  suppression drugs, and I not sere  how work is handling out of state policies so we did the Zoom Christmas. The silver linings I saw everybody at the same time. I cooked a two bone rib Roast with yorkshire pudding.

Everyone stayed home this year. Really miss having people over. Rather have them alive. Sent my mom and brother those supper fluffy blankets. Bought myself one of those blankets and some wood for a project I'm making. I had green bean casserole and cranberry sauce for Christmas dinner.
It's been said that rats can gain access to your home by climbing up threw your toilet. I prefer to use the front door.

Had a pretty good but very much divided up Christmas this year. Got a LOT of records to add to my collection, which is nice. Been slowly going through them and listening to them over the past few days.
