Title: Greenstone Book 1: Greenstone Abbey
Post by: Sledge on September 22, 2015, 08:59:19 pm
A few things first: I don't know if I'm getting back into the general RP board or not. However this one goes will decide that. Also, this has been adapted from the adult section, so certain parts will likely not turn out as intended.

The small ship known as the Star Runner rocked madly across the waves, tossed around like flotsam. Wind an rain punished those working on her deck, even the warriors, the priests, and the priestesses working to keep the ship alive as the Captain barked orders and worked alongside his men. Lightning flashed blindingly across the sky, momentarily outlining everyone against the black sea. In the dark of the night, with everyone working, who was to notice the stone cliffs approaching quickly?

This is based loosely off of the Redwall book/TV series by Brian Jacques, and will be seperate books, each using a new set of primary characters, keeping the old as background. Answering a question that might come up, ahead of time: this is a medieval type RP.

Rules:
1. No godmoding, obviously.
2. No arguing in either thread, with the GM or otherwise.
3. You have one warning, then your character is dead and you're out.
4. Anything that seems unfair should be presented to me via PM, otherwise it will be ignored(see rule 2.)

Jacoby - I corrected your card the first time, so you're good.

Amducious - being advanced in all ranges of fighting is a bit too OP. I would accept advanced skills in long range with the bow and somewhat trained in close combat with the short sword or vice versa.

Talia - card looks good. The system will be somewhat like the Catholic Church, but the diety is the goddess Lunith. I actually added the priests/priestesses in; as I said, it's loosely based off of the books.

Also, something I've meant to say, but kept forgetting: magic and guns are nonexistent... I think that's pretty much it...

I figure, I was actually think about maybe changing my character. We already have a doctor and they were generally better at medicine than priests and priestess were.

That would be fine, though might I suggest a nurse under the doctor we have currently?

Another thing, I'll be adding in characters randomly to fill in certain roles and interact with you others.

Cards look good, sir. Might I ask who you want Nico to be apprenticed under? Or would you rather he be apprenticed under them all to some degree?

Looks better, Am. I'll just apprentice Nico under all of the warriors PCs and otherwise.

 Name: Madrek Aloen

Age: 22

Gender: male

Species: lion

Occupation: warrior

Personality: gruff and quiet, speaks his mind rarely and keeps his opinions to himself mostly. Usually talkative when talked to but other than that he's happy to be useful.

Height: 6'3"

Weight: 203 lbs

Appearance: darker hair and kind of a scruffy mane. Has a tatoo of a sea snake on his arm coiling around a whale of sorts. Green eyes and a soft beard accompany his features. Has a long scar runninc across his shoulder to his stomach. A rather well muscled figure as well.

Other: used to work in a lumber yard for a few years before taking up the ax for a different purpose, a fan of whittling and wood carving. He could cobble together a few things like huts and tools but is hardly a master, but can still tell you what wood would be best for different uses.

I changed the long bow out for a warhammer. Merek is more of a close-up fighter not really ranged.

Just so you guys know I will be gone a lot longer than I thought I would. :(
I've been falling way behind in my school work and my grades are dropping so my parents want me to devote more time to school work. So until I'm caught up I won't be on, so best start without me for the time being.

Just as a heads up, I'll be gone till Friday and will be active only for a little while when I get back. Then I'm spending Friday and Saturday for deer hunting(I'll be back late Saturday night). You can start it and I'll catch up (it's up to you if you're starting or not, either way I'm fine with it)

I know it's not exactly the best circumstances, but since your character is a nurse, you could have her wake up as the one who just got knocked out...
