"This is your way out, we can't afford to let anyone stay here, nor do we have anything to let you use."

When everyone was finally sat down, the Kalga lurched. There was nothing to look out, just the simple organic looking walls. A slight vibration began to shake through the ship.

With Kalga I watched through it's eyes, watching the slipstream take us in, and close behind us just as we were fully in.

~May the Avari guide us well~ I thought towards Kalga.

~That they do, they are strong, and grand for a race such as them. Their wiseness is perhaps as great as my own. It will be a pleasure to meet these people, whom have gotten to know the space ways well.~

As the lights lead you down the hall, you finally come to the command room, where you are greated by a wide range of bewildered faces. Quite suddenly you see a chair move up from the ground.

Then a voice catches your ears, "You'd better get settled in, we are about to use a Slipstream created by the Avari. Please hurry, The Kalga can not defend its self for long against the Kal'Tak."

You identify the voice coming from a horse like anthro, his eyes closed, as if in a trance.

Once you get to the door, you look down the corridor of which it opens. Down it, you see some lights down by the bottom of the walls. These were blinking off and on in a certain order. A bit like the traveling chirstimas lights on Terra. The lights seem to be trying to guide you to somewhere. A door somewhere down the hall opens up.

Once again the light flickers. As you watch it it seems to have a pattern to it, not the sort of randomness of a light about to go out.

3 flickers, it stays on... then another 3 flickers, maintains its lightness. It continues on this patteren some more, as if insisting that you go to it.

You simply see a set of lights flicker at a door way. Looking around you can see that the ship is very much organic looking, unlike most ships.

Again the flickering happens at the door way, which opens up.

~There is a ship, it is being fired on, it looks aggresive, but the others shoot at it.~

"Then we must save it. If the attackers are getting at it then we must try and get to it. I'll try and bring it here."

To those who can't hear Kalga it's self, it would seem that I was talking out to no one in particular.

"Okay, people, Slightl delay, we've got a small craft in distress, going to try and get it."

Closing my eyes, I slipped my mind in with Kalga's. I could see the ship now. Yes.. diffrent. I reache dout with my mind, learning the techniques that I had learned long ago. I didn't try to pull it towards me at first. I simply slowed it, slowing it to a stop. To the occupent inside this would be diffrent considering that space doesn't have resitance to movment. The ship then stopped then started to move towards us. Slowly speeding up faster and faster. Kalga prepared it's self to catch the free floating craft.

*just before your ship readies itself for jump the scanners pick up a possible enemy ship driving eratically, badly damaged. The weapons are down as is much of anything. It seems to be pretty much out of control a few "fighters" fire on it then leave as it begins its decent to the unknown*

"The Kal'tak, I don't know..-," I looked at the tree creature that walked out of the elevator, burshing past me to get to Alex. I blinked several times, and looked at it closer. It was certainly a tree... some sort of creature on it too. Was this the Humapyte? The 'skin' looked similar to Kalga's.

I watched in pure amazment as the creature looked out across our town, but it suddenly seemed to break down, if it's reactions were even remotely simliar to ours. I watched as it moved away from the windows and into a cornor. I stared at it for several moments before I hesitently moved to take a look out the window myself. I survayed the scene carefully, taking in the views and happenings. Nothing seemed out of place. Along the forest's edge there were some signs of expansion through the stumps, several new looking homes were constructed by the materials that were cut down. Then it hit me. Tree Creatures.... Wood... Oh Tark!

"He's scared of what he do with wood, with trees." I whispered to my self. I quickly looked at the creature, then back out at the scene. To him... it would of looked to be a massacer.

Tark is right. I slowly approached the creature, my hands spread out in such a way as to show I am unarmed, in hopes that the little creature wouldn't attack me, specially with that glare, "I am Jadnar, I know now why you are scared. Do not be afraid, for those trees do not have a consciounce as you do. We may not value the lives as you do, but as much as we know, they do not feel pain, or fear, nor emotions of anysort."

~Kalga, I could use some help.~

~I do not know of what can help, it may be creator, but I do not know how they react to this. I have never seen the use of trees as I have seen it through creator's eyes. I am mearly tool to them.~

~You are more then a tool, your a living breathing.... well I guess your breath, but you think, you develop, you react to stimulus. You are a creature, a thinker. You are more then a tool~

~Tool to them, I am.~

(sorry bout the yoda speech '<img'>)

It didn't seem I'd get much help from Kalga, but maybe later I can get some information from it later, specially from that contact with the Kal'tak.

"I know what you are, and maybe why you're here, but in the mean time, there are many things that we do that may apaul you. But these are things that many thousands of species have done through out the galaxy. We can't stop it. But I assure you, you or any other's of your species will not be used for the purposes as what your presumed cousins may be used for."

*tark.... I don't know if I'm just shoving my paw down my throat or helping. I feel like such a fack'ortia*

Gorbin is taken aback at Alex's and Trusters reaction, and sent.

~Oh, damm. What did I do this time?~
~Wait a mininit, I am the only with a bodypet.~
{at this time Gorbin gets a flood of info.}

Gorbin "remembers" about the glan, he is suppose to activate when around Non-Plants.

OOC:This is a hormone, that makes Gorbin smell on a subconscious level as a friend/packmate. This works on most not all non-plants, and works best on contact with a person. This is why Gorbin has this need to make body contact with every Non-Plant he meets. This instinct was added to Hooma's at the same time the nose was added.

Gorbin slips past Truster/Jadner, and the others. As the sun hits Gorbins grass/fur, Gorbin takes on a shine of health that any gardener would be proud of. Gorbin walks up to Alex with a look of worry.
"Alex I am so sorry, I did not mean to scare you. This is Flick my bodypet, he could not hurt a leaf. Please forgive. I am so new to this....this meeting of others....everything is so strange....is there anything I could do to....fix this...to make it grow closer to the light."

With that said Gorbin slowly stands up strait. He looks around, and shows a face filled with shock. He sees the bare earth, the tree stumps at the edge of town, houses made of wood, sickly weeds poking out of cracks of cement and asphalt. He backs up hitting outside of the elevator, then skoots
around until he finds an open door. He backs in, and freezes looking out. Then he squats down and puts his face in his four hands, and starts to rock. Flick crawls up the top of Gorbins head and glares at everyone looking.

OOC: Sorry about the melowdrama just trying to play the charactor as I think he would react to a fronter town. and sorry to Jadnar and Terastas for not introducing Gorbin, he can have a one track mind.

Alex looked down at the cub with a sense of worry.
"Hey now don't cry. Be brave you've been through a lot today".

Alex kneeled down so that he was level with Simon. He then reached over and wiped away his tears. "I understand how you feel Simon. I too have lost family, and friends".

Alex reached into his pocket and brought out his camera. He switched on the viewer and a picture slowly came into focus. "Here's a few of them", he told Simon as he flicked through them. Eventually the screen showed he pictures he had taken before the Kal'tak attacked Repine.

"No! It can't be! In the picture were the two strange figures, but now that Alex had seen them he knew what they were. "Mitchea....with the kal'tak?"

Trustor's mind raced.  He was tired but thinking more clearly as his ears trained for sound.  Protocol for this situation would be observe and avoid detection.  If friendly, get assistance.  If not..  Acquire communication via stealth and rendevous for pickup.

Trustors ears twitched as he caught the hum of activity down the corridor coming closer.  Crouching down Trustor tilted his head instinctively to avoid the reflection of light from his brown eyes, the flashing yellow light rolling over his dark form pressed into the wall as he tucked his tail low.  The clapping of rail and rush of wind carried the scent of mildew and grease to the dogs nose as a rail car rushed by, it’s claps echoing as it’s red tail lights painted the darkness in streaks with it’s leaving.  The transport had left as quickly as it had come.  Moments later, there was blackness as lights went out.

The yellow light had gone out.  The warning light was perhaps of service to this underground transport Trustor thought, as his eyes adjusted quickly to the dark.  He had not been given color vision intentionally by his creators to improve his sharpness and night vision.  The need for sleep had been nearly removed for all BEFU’s as well.  These were traits that had saved his furry hide in the field many times and seemed were coming in useful again.  As his eyes quickly adjusted, Trustor remembered how he had heard a human soldier once mention something about “dreaming” but he didn’t understand.  Why would anyone dream?  Perhaps they are just “hoping” for something when they close their eyes.  Well, whatever is-is Trustor thought.  You can’t hope for anything.  Only do what you are supposed to do.

Trustor moved quickly down the dark corridor staying near to the wall, wisps of ozone catching his nose from metal rails in a shallow damp gully.  It was nearly totally dark but his eyes could still make out the outline of shapes.  As Trustor turned he picked up a glint of light up ahead and the sent of outdoors.  He picked up his pace and leaped onto a steel ladder. There was a sense of relief from seeing light up above.  There were times he wondered if he would ever see light again.  Trustor synced his watch. “Trustor A-11b 2966 location unknown in unlisted territory.”, Trustor spoke,  “Attempting to Acquire communication with Karath HQ following plan Omega-11 part c.”  “Setting GPS way-point now recording.”,  Entering the final command into his watch Trustor pushed up on the large metal cover and slid it back.  Looking out he was surprised.  He was in a city!

*Warning* *Warning* The warmth of yellow flashing lights were upon his muzzle.  Trustor opened one eye laying on the floor as he stared up at a flashing yellow light.  Coughing, choking.. finally he could fill his first breath of air.  Desperate for air Trustor concentrated not to gasp breathing to get more air into his lungs without choking.  His hand slid under his chest as he gazed around.  It appeared to be some sort of access conduit.

The logo on the wall was not Karath.  “I could he be in enemy territory.”, Trustor thought getting his bearings. His bloody ear twitched turning to catch a footfall far down the hall.  Trustor stepped into the shadows of an alcove.  Knife drawn ready to pounce his tan and black fur blending into the black shadows as he waited amongst the soft buzzing of hundreds of power conduits.

Moments passed as Trustor stood there motionless his tall ears perked waiting for the faintest of sounds from beyond and his tail tucked low.  The pain was great as Trustor then noticed his own dire need for attention.  Feeling the energy buzz through the conduits Trustor could feel himself reach out and start to pull the energy flows towards him in strings of rushing of heat.  The energy relaxed his mussels as he began to breath easier.  Reaching into his hip sack Trustor pulled out and administered himself a quick anti-coagulant/anti-inflammatory to aid in the rapid healing.  Feeling the swelling quickly drop in his left eye to BR4 approved functionality.  Trustor begged the question now in his mind, “What now....”.

Space on its own is lonely. Its eternal black depths never ending to us mear creatures. Though we find our companions, to drift through space, through what are called the Space ways.

I could feel a rumble beneath my feet, and in my head I could hear the Kalga talk to me. ~There is something out there... something large. It shadows the Space Ways. It hurts my mind.~

"Kalga? Are you alright? What do you mean?"

~Something Great, something terrible is coming~

"Where is it?"

Bowing his head one last time, Brent finished his prayer and raised his head, regarding the altar of the dimly-lit church vaguely for a moment before leaving the building, picking up his naginata from where he had leaned it against the doorframe on his way out. The Shining Voice prayed in any churches they came across. They weren't overly religious, but it was one of the ways to recieve jobs from the nameless Gods that guided their steps. Most of the time the young fighter used it as a way to sink himself into a state of calm but... this time was different. The call had come. Looking up into the bright sky, the fox adjusted the twin blades hanging from his right hip. Then, using the spear as a walking-staff, he moved on his way.
"One last thing, Rick, don't meet their eyes."
"What?"
"Don't meet their gaze. They have seen beyond the veil, and this makes their gaze most terrible. Seen from Terra, they cause fear... undiluted in Gaia, they will strip your soul."

Relaxed in his transport vehicle, Sean sees the display on the dashboard two blinking lights coming towards his location. He then notices that two alien are coming towards him at full speed. In panic, he notifies HQ, but no use. He is out of contact distance. An enemy laser shot across his vehicle and clipped the wing. "Crap!". Sean tries to take control of it, but its useless. He rushes to the escape pod and launches out of the transport. He looks back at the transport in ruins, scattered all over the place. The pod enters the atmophere of a nearby planet and lands in what it looks to be a jungle. He gets his Gunblade and Shock Blades and steps out of the pod and sniffs the air. "Well, it looks like i have to find a communcation station of some type."

Crouching silently behind a pile of empty cardboard boxes, Alex watches patiently as a small group of thugs stand holding a small package of Crystaline ore. This stuff was worth millions on the black market, and people would literally kill, and die for it.

At last all the leads had paid off, and Alex had finally caught up to the leader of this illegal trade. Finally the groups "customer" had arrived. It wasn't really a shock, once again the chief of police was willing to turn a blind eye to line his own pockets once more.

The tabloids were going to have a field day over this.
Chief Mitchea caught with his paw in the cookie jar yet again...bad doggie. Alex thought to himself.

He readied himself for the shot and took 5 in quick succession. These pictures would definately get him onto the front page and enough money to get off this god forsaken planet.

He could hardly wait.

Onboard Millitary Battleship Goliath docked for repairs in the Repine moonebase space dock.

" BLast it all too hell who rewired this a blind monkey"
Babel turned to the captain with a heavy scowl his face.
" When I do something I do it for a reason, Tell that that... idiot of a mech you have working for you to leave well enough alone".
Giveing the ships monitor one final tweek the whole array of comes on and the whirle of readouts and radio static fill the air.
" Well Im done here next time you flyboys need a repaire call me please don't go poking around"
"Our mechanics can do the job just as good as you your just lucky we contracted you for this Babel, If it where up to me I wouldn't even pay ya" the captain sneered back.
" Is that so well I guess I will just undo what I just did and le..."
" NO no no don't just leave it and go you'll get your pay and yer parts just leave the ship be" The captain cut him off mid-sentance.
"Thank you captain a wise choice" He turns and leaves for his shuttle.
As Bable makes his way to his small craft a bleep from his arm informs him that something has happend.
Cheacking the text from the millitary info server the fate of the Friget Rouche comes up.
" The Rouche it's been what 6 years since I was on that thing hmm not too far away and there's always a need for a mech might as well get out there and take a look see. Damm I did some mighty fine work on that ship I'll be tick off if it's been ruined".
