Title: Motor City Furry Con 11-13 April 2014

What an emotional roller coaster for patrons of the now-defunct FCN. The Motor City Fur Con with pick up the baton and run with it. Same dates and same location. Details are still being worked out, but we do know alcohol will be available in The Sponsor's Lounge.

Well, this is coming up pretty quickly. I decided I would probably be remiss if I didn't go, considering I live roughly half an hour from the hotel... I won't even have to take any time off work for it.

me, being from the FAR south, i wonder how this con will fair.
i for one am looking forward to something up north, where i have never been before, and one with no one under 18 at that?!
Im a HUGE party person, so im REALLY excited to go to a con with no young-ins

Ill be applying for artist alley, and will be there tomorrow night.

I will be there! It was a bit of a last-minute decision, but I pretty much couldn't justify not going since I live so close. I still have to work on Friday, but I'm going to try to leave there a little early if I can. I'll go to the apartment, change, grab a quick dinner, and then head over there.

It feels so strange, though. For MFF the last two years, there was a lot of planning and coordination between people involved. Even though it was just two days off work, it was a mini vacation for me. MCFC feels almost like a non-event to me at this point. No hotel reservations or rooming arrangements needed, since I'll just make the 30-45 minute commute there and back each day.

im the same with MFM XD its here in memphis, or rather right outside the city, so i just drive there everyday~
I look forward to seeing you! If you spot me, say hi! Youll have to remind me who you are, im slow to remember people xD
I should be in artist alley at some point! And at ALL the room parties at night xD
