I didn't see another thread about this convention....

Well, anyone going to RCFM in May?  I'm going, as long as everything works out until then....

You can find info about it at:

I got an e-mail from Lennox the other day and he said they (Sub-Level 03) are going to be performing on Sunday at RFCM.  I would soooooo like to go but due to Morphicon just a few weeks earlier I doubt I will have the cash to make the trip.

But.... if I win the Lottery, look out!

It should be a good con, they had a good following at FWA promoting RFCM.

aww man...I just got the email this week about sub level 03 being there...
I would LOVE to go... but Morphicon and someone special thereabouts is my #1 priority.
I wish I could do both.

Hey since Tyler and me are going to RCFM you might as well come too Tei!! hehehe.....

Alabama?? No wonder it was so warm outside today. hehehe...

All kidding aside, I guess the otter may have to look into getting some time off and head down so he can see his furiends again.  If I am able to make it I can pick up Furtopians in Columbus and Cinncinati OH, Louisville (Peaches??) Elizabethtown and Bowling Green KY and Nashville TN.

I should be going. I'm moving to Texas in a few weeks and then getting a real job. WOOT! That means I'll have real money and will be able to go. I found plane tickets for $200.. but I don't have a room yet.. and the only person I've seen offering a room so far.. well.. let's just say I'd rather shell out $300 to room by myself than room with him. So, I'm hoping sombody has a room to share or wants to room with me.

I will most likely attend RCFM.

It would be my first con, actually. If anyone from Furtopia is going I'd love to hear it, since it would be good not to fly completely blind.
If this is also anyone else's first con, it might be good to know since we will all be in the same boat.

Darn -- I don't know if I'll be able to make it.  I'm completely broke right now, seeing how my car died twice last week and then got towed.  I also don't want to drive my car all the way up there since its had so many problems.

Oh, well -- such is life....  Hopefully I'll find a way to make it to AC ''

Is no one else from Furtopia going?

I already have plans to, but it would be too bad if no one else is. I really wish I could have gone to Morphicon, especially after hearing all the positive post-con comments about it, but the timing didn't work out.

There seems to be a big lack of cons coming up in the next few months, so that's why I'm intent on going to RCFM. It looks good from what I can tell, so I'm going come hell or high-water... hopefully someone else is too.

For anyone's information, I have completed all my arrangements to be at RCFM. Looks like furtopians gravitated to Morphicon and Califur, which unforunately I could not make.

If in the off chance anyone is going, feel free to PM me.

I'm still pretty new to this furry thing, but this con is about an hour from me, so I might have to check it out...

Might as well dive right in, huh?

Dude this con is rocking so far. I'm actually here at the hotel where the con is and I have to say, having full wireless access anywhere in the hotel rocks some major arses! '<img'> They have a huge schedule and everything's running so smoothly that it's hard to believe you're at a FURRY CON...what with it being a drama free con and all. ^_^

Anyways, just letting you all know this con rock s so far and probably still willl later. ^_^

The con was indeed awesome. I'm glad I finally went to a con. It was probably the best thing I've done in years.

The only thing was that I started to feel sick half-way through the con on Saturday, but that's what I get for only getting 4 hours of sleep before a 14 hour drive.

But besides that, a great time. I only wish I had brought a laptop and gotten online so I could have seen the PMs from the two other furtopians at the con.
