Got curious to create a poll since I was actually having spaghetti tonight for dinner.  :D

So, how do you like to fix/eat spaghetti?

I haven't really had spaghetti in many many years. Not a fan of the sauce and something has changed with my stomach where strong amounts of garlic cause my ulcers to...shall we say act up. I prefer alfredo sauce anyway, as long as it doesn't have a lot of spice to it. I do rather enjoy meatballs though. Walmart has this bag of premade meatballs that you just heat and eat, very yummy. I tend to like a plate of those without any noodles or sauce.

Always make my own sauce. My noodle of choice is macaroni. Not as messy and beafier in both flavor and texture. Or occasionally I'll make my own pasta.

Cheese of choice is mozzarella. Not on top. Mixed all the way through. Not a fan of parmesan cheese.

I prefer spaghetti 'antipasto' but because of the diet I have to stick to I'll mix in chunky hamburger or roast beaf. Hamburger is cooked with a lot of garlic, sage, oregano and rosemary. Chicken is also very good in spaghetti.

If you play by the rules I'm not actually making spaghetti. I'm making Macaroni with sauce.  :)
It's been said that rats can gain access to your home by climbing up threw your toilet. I prefer to use the front door.

Angel hair pasta,  linguini,  spaghetti noodles, boiled aldente.  Covered with Italian salad dressing.
Sauce is browned beef, lean,  with traditional tomato sauce, basil, garlic, onion, rosemary, coriander.
Sauce poured on noodles which have absorbed dressing.  Cheese sprinkled on all of it.
Garlic bread.

I love pasta of all kinds. My dad has to be careful what brand of tomato sauce as tomato sauce upsets his stomach. Same thing with pizza we use white sauce on our pizza, it's   really good!

I'll stock up on spaghetti and sauce when on sale. Thin spaghetti or Angel hair cooks up quickest IMHO. There's also the stuff already "broken" in half. Dollar Tree has some frozen meatballs which are rather good, but I usually buy the quality Italian style ones at the grocery chain store when on sale. Sometimes I'll make garlic toast by buttering regular toast sprinkled with garlic powder.
