My other question about this is how you didn't notice this earlier. :P

How in the world did you not notice this earlier? Good gracious that nest is huge! Have you tried to get that nest down/destroy it? I know it'd be a bit of a problem because it's a wasp nest, but there's got to be a way to get rid of it.

Well, the laundry room window has a scenic biew of the side of the neighbor's house and it's covered in bushes anyway, so we have these little curtains on the window that we usually keep closed. I decided to let a little light in and that's what I found.

easy way to get rid of them is to wear long pants, put a bag around your shoe and then put a rubber band around the opening of the bag and your leg, then get gloves and a long sleeve shirt and another rubber band. then find some way to protect your head (i have a gasmask so that's my way) then you grab a stick and..... keep hitting it till it is gone ^^

or you can just go to the store and buy some long range wasp killing spray (the ones that shoot 20ft) but what is the fun in that? ^^

Buddy, i'm not no expert, but years of watching cartoons tells me that those are not very good ideas! :D

CALL A PROFESSIONAL

(Or a SWAT team, they could take care of it.)

full clothing works, i have and old brick fountain in my backyard that has sand in it, and wasps go there and because it gets wet and they can drink off it (and there are dead bugs in there). i dont like them there so i got full clothing and a stick and messed up the sand (didnt get stung) im not so sure if it would work for a hive, but it seems like a fun thing to try ^^ (i would be using duct tape and a lot of bags/clothes if i tried that)

great now i feel like trying that.....
