This is getting boring, i want action-BOOM! I MADE ACTION! WOO!
One character at a time, the only way you can switch is if your current one dies, or if they pass the round and move on. This will keep your job simple.

Be brief with char cards and posts, this RP is going to be as fast paced as we can post so we can keep the action going.
STORY: You wake up in a cage, two guys with spears prod you into an arena, they throw you a weapon as the gate shuts; Yes it's just that simple!
Name: Gnargle

Appearance: Miners hat and clothes
Weapon: Pickaxe
No real rules except the standard Furtopia rules, so just have fun with it. Try not to be a complete Superman though. Anyone may add another wave of foes at any time, and you are encouraged to carry on without me when i'm not able to post
ROUND ONE!! *DING DING*
Gnargle is thrown into the arena with nothing but his pickaxe. A gate opens and 3 goblin spearmen riding wild boar charge out. "this is NOT a one man job!" the boar zero in on him and charge.

So, as you can see, this is a continuation of an earlier RP idea i did awhile back. Here's the idea; arena + bad guys + you = fun.
ALL STANDARD FURTOPIAN RULES APPLY!!!
I will appoint AGMs as i see fit; AGMs are to report any broken rules to both me and the staff at once. You also get to wreak havoc in terms of the RP, as long as it's not breaking any of the Furtopian rules.

Try not to be a superhero level character, but this is about gratuitous fun, not finesse. Well, that is, if you consider fighting for your life against wave after wave of baddies fun, but you get what i mean, right? And don't take this all too seriously, it's going to have a similar violence humor ratio to something like Borderlands... though a bit toned down, i don't think the shoot-me-in-the-face guy would fly around here...

AH YES, i want to make it very clear that i will not be babysitting this thread. I brought the pizza, that doesn't mean you should stop eating while i grab from drinks. If that makes any sense IF NOT YOUR A SISSY AND YOU BETTER LIKE IT

Race: Wolf

Apperance: Wolf like, wearing jeans and a t-shirt
Weapon: Baseball bat
Mallard gets pushed into the arena, seeing another man already there. He looks across the floor and sees the approaching goblin riders, changes his grip on his bat, and readies himself to swing at one of the goblins before it reaches the stranger. "Well, two's a bit better."

The goblins notice as another contestant is is thrown in, and two of them change course, taking aim at Mallard. The third continues to charge towards Gnargle. Running out of time and options, Gnargle jumps rather blindly at the oncoming attacker, but ends up missing entirely and jumping barely out of the way of the charging boar. The boar has no time to slow down or turn, and ends up slamming into the wall, hard. The boar is at least stunned, but the goblin jumps off and charges, now on foot, with his spear.

Appearance: standard bat looks but with red eyes, sleeveless leather jacket, torn jeans, red basketball shoes, and a gold chain
Weapon: Machete
Beat opened his eyes only to find he was face down in the arena with only a machete at his side. "Great, what did I toss myself into now?" he saw the other two"Well...at least i'm not alone...let's get to fightin!"

Mallard notices the two now charging him. He waits until the two are close, then flings his bat at the closer one, before flinging himself to the side, narrowly avoiding the lance of the second. The bat collides with the goblins chest, knocking him off his boar violently.

Beat tried to brush off the collision best he could and attacked the stunned goblin with a whirlwind of wild slashes with his machete. he looked over at the wolf "Hey, i'm on your side!"

Gnargle waited for the goblin to thrust his spear, then rushed in and stick his pick in the goblin's chest. He then rushed over the stunned boar to finish it off.
(T-Yoshi, i think you might be getting your bat character confused with Mallard's baseball bat)

Mallard rushes over too his aluminum not at all fleshy baseball bat, picking it up off the ground, and moving in to finish off the downed goblin, caving its head it, before turning to make sure the fallen goblins boar wasn't coming around to finish him off.

Beat watched the goblin he attacked drop dead and turned his attention to the boar. He jumped up and glided toward it, slashing it as he passed before landing. "And that's that!" Beat said rather satisfied.

Mallard picked up the spear that the goblin was wielding, and threw it at the last remaining boar, which was just turning around to charge again. The spear pierced the boars head, and Mallard quickly finished the job. "Phew. That was unexpected."

A loud rumble echoed through the arena as another gate slowly started to swing open. Mallard looked around him and noticeed goblins a-plenty sitting in seats high up above the arena, as well as many other types of creatures, some of which he'd never seen before. All the goblins were on their feet, squealing loudly in anticipation. From the gate emerged what seemed to be a goblin like creature. It had the same ugly skin, and looked about as intelligent, but that's where the similarities stopped. This creature would tower over any goblin. Mallard could tell it was quite a bit larger than he was. It carried a giant wooden club that was stained red with use. The goblin behemoth roared and the audience only cheered louder. Looking around, the creature eyed the three combatants, and with one more roar, charged at them, club held high.

(AGM? Time to have some fun! *snickers*)
Beat seemed rather happy as two of the goblins bullrushed him. He ran towrads the first one.and plunged his machete into it's chest then yanked it out and cut the poor goblin across the throat. As he fell dead, Beat turned on his heels and slashed wildly at the second goblin, laughing the while "Gonna have to do better than that!" Beat shouted as the second goblin fell.

Gnargle saw the rampaging brute that was barreling towards him and two thoughts crossed his mind:
1: This is bad
2: I need to move
Indeed, this WAS bad, and he DID need to move.
He waited till the second before the last to dive out of the way, because ya know, safety first.
The brute slammed into the wall, only a few feet away from where the boar had done the same. Unlike the boar however, this ogre-like goblin was not stunned from the collision, just angry... in fact, he was REALLY angry. Gnargle ran towards the others as fast as his little skeby legs would take him, though he knew very well he had no chance out outrunning this monster.

Mallard saw that his new comrade needed aid, and so he dropped the baseball bat, and ran towards one of the goblins that was just killed, retrieving its spear off of its corpse. He hesitated, waiting for the beast to draw nearer, so he wouldn't miss. "You seem like you know what you're doing. Any ideas for this thing?"

Gnargle looked over at the wolf, surprised anyone even bothered to notice him.
"I say we kill it, what about you?"
(Lets keep this a'rollin people! You're AGMs, just start doing things, even without me if i'm not here!)

Mallard tossed the spear up in his hand and then caught it again. "I like that plan alright. I'll try to distract him from the front, get behind 'em and see if you can do any damage from behind!" Mallard stabbed up at the beast as it charged closer, causing it to end its charge, swinging its club wildly, which Mallard quickly back stepped away from. "Come here you ugly brute." Mallard yelled.

Beat rolled up next to Gnarle machete in hand. "Hey, what if I try to fly up for an aerial attack? Death from above!"

Mallard dodged another swing, this one closer than all the others. "Any time now would be nice!"

Beat heard the wolf and hastily shifted gears taking the queue. He took a few steps back and started to run flapping his wings and lifting off as he got closer. He gained a fair amount of height and took a swing when he was just overhead of the large creature, hitting it's shoulder near the neck. He was bleeding and in some notable pain. Beat landed near the wolf "Not bad, but I only hurt him..."

Another gate opened, this one containing a large...dead...troll, as well as a small shrew "well he wasn't too bright..bashed is own brains out ee did!"

Mallard rushed the creature as it held its hand against the wound. He stabbed the spear deep into the creatures thigh, then pushed the shaft up as hard as he could, pulling the creatures down to his knee. "Somebody finish him off!"

The shrew picked a spear up off the ground and jumped on the beast ramming the spear into its eye...unfortunately not deep enough, the creature thrashed and threw him across the arena

Mallard ran to the the baseball bat and picked it up. "Here!" he yelled, tossing it to the actual bat. "Drive it home!"

Beat grabbed the bat and got a sickening grin on his face "This is it for you, hermano!" He charged up and hit the end of the spear with the bat and then cut the creature across its throat for good measure. "The deed is done!"

Another gate opens, and a massive scorpion is prodded into the arena.
Gnargle charges blindly at the beast, pickaxe over his head.

(GO-GO GADGET RP REVIVAL!)
Gnargle leaps at the scorpion, which swats him away with its claw/pincer things. It begins crawling over to him, presumably to eat him.

Mallard, who had been looking for a way out of the arena, and didn't even notice the scorpion. But he certainly heard Gnargle's battle cry. He saw the other fur in plight and rushed over to help. Realizing he had no weapons on hand, he ran behind the scorpion, picked up some rocks off the ground, and started throwing them at the scorpion, screaming taunts at him, hoping to draw his attention.

The scorpion fails to notice the rocks being thrown at it, nor does it hear Mallard's yelling... ether that or it doesn't care. It shambles over to Gnargle and seizes him in it's mandibles before turning around sharply to face the slightly annoying fur covered piece of meat.

The shrew picked it's self up off the ground and ran at the scorpion in a zig zag pattern , he rolled to dodge the stinger once... twice... and caught it going airborne with it he let go landing on the vile things back "hey, stabby, come at me!" He rolled off as the stinger came crashing down where he was...and went through the exoskeleton

Seeing the scorpion was distracted by the shrew, Beat saw an opening and ran for the base of the scorpion's tail. "You won't be much without your precious stinger! Haha!" He twirled his machete and started hacking at the base of the scorpion's tail wildly. After about fifteen slashes, he had made some progress, the tail was still attached but the scorpion would have a harder time controlling it.

Unknown to the contestants, an massive black centipede had slithered out of a smaller gate on the other side of the arena. It slid along to walls silently, waiting for an opportunity...
Gnargle has gone limp, probably due to the fact that his neck is in the scorpion's mouth.

After Beat had finished with the violent slashing of the scorpion's tail, he jumped back and laughed. This was soon broken by a skittling noise he was picking up. "C'mon.....where are you you little beast?" He flapped his wings and went a few feet in the air, gripping the machete tightly.

This 'little beast' shot half its body into the sky, taking the 'little moth' completely unaware.

Beat heard just in time to dodge, however the centipede had managed to hit his leg pretty good. He was in a fair amount of pain but he figured as long as he could stay on his wings he'd be okay. Beat elected to swoop down on the centipede and made a few slashes at him, when he flew back up he noticed he'd only scratched him up a bit but he was bleeding. "Okay, can't handle that guy on my own..." He started to fly away fast as he could.

Mallard dashed away from both of the large creatures. He needed to find something to work with, and fast. He ran for the last spear unbroken, taking it off the ground and running back into the fray. He charged at the scorpion spear raised. He put everything he had into the stab and managed to puncture the stomach of the scorpion, in an attempt to free Gnargle from it's bite.

The scorpion collapses, Gnargle trapped underneath it, with the scorpion's digestive acids smothering him. (eh, he was already dead anyway)
the centipede begins to climb up the steel mesh on the top of the arena, trying to reach Beat

Mallard mutters a curse under his breath over the body of the scorpion and his fallen comrade, before looking around for another weapon to combat the new foe.

The shrew glared at beat "YOU IDIOT I WAS GOING TO MAKE IT KILL IT'S SELF" he rammed a fist through a hole vBulletin the tail had made and ripped out a bundle of nerves and left its lower body paralyzed "OY FLY BACK OVER HERE! Got an idea..."

(DM's orders; this round is over once you guys kill Mr. Got Lots of Legs. I will be handing out the prizes for each round. after that, i'll start the next round and you can flex your AGM muscles as much as you please)

Beat swooped down, picked up Mallard's baseball bat and handed it to him, still hovering the whole time. "Here, you will need this I guarantee! No way I can take that thing on my own. He got me pretty good on the leg but at least I can still fly. any ideas?"

Mallard thanks the flying creature before turning to the centipede. He leaned his bat on his shoulder. "I can smash his stomach open if you distract him. Otherwise my bat wont do much. I can't get through his shell.

Beat saw the centipede scuttling up the arena walls "Alright, I think I can manage that..." He flew into the middle of the arena and took a deep breath "Hey! Get Some!!!" Beat yelled at the monstrous centipede. he noticed and took a dive at Beat. Beat quickly flew to the side, causing it to miss him and dive right into the ground, belly up. "There's your opening, go for it!" Beat yelled as he began to nosedive down, machete first.

The shrew looks at the creature as it swoops down towards him he waits for it and just as it would hit him leaps and grabs an antenna, the beast thrashes about wildly but he jams his paw. In a gap between the things exoskelleton "if I can hold on...I can sever the head..."

Mallard charged, bat held high up above his head and charged at the creature. He swung his bat repeatedly down into the creatures soft stomach, each blow accompanied by a thud and the sound of crunching as the baseball bat smashes everything in its path.
"THIS IS FOR THAT OTHER GUY YOU MONSTER" Mallard yells as he keep smashing

Beat soared in "Alright, let's finish him!" He flew to the centipede's exposed stomach and started slashing and stabbing wildly. "That's for messing my leg up!"

The shrew held on tight to the gap in the cartilage between the creatures body and head...effectively the neck and swung forwards gouging it's eye with his foot, the beast thrashed wildly, but he held tight and with a screech and a squishy sounding crunch the beasts head came off sending the shrew flying
(If you are giving out prizes, no weapons for me...not how my character works)

Round one over.
The three of you are teleported to a small room. On one side there are a few weapons, on the other some armor. The gear is from the bronze age up to Roman style of weapons and armor. You have five minutes.

The shrew rushes around and digs around until he finds a small enough suit of chainmail, he also picks up a length of light chain and alarge sheild...large for him at least....and a great spear that is waaay too big for him

(did they have chainmail back then? EDIT: Nevermind, i looked it up. I haven't learned much about older history... stuff.)

Beat spotted a pair of bracers and leg guards. He donned the bracers and as he put the leg guards on he fastened it tighter on his bad leg, it didn't completely stop the pain but at least he could walk now. Lastly he spotted twin Naue II swords, he attached the scabbards to his belt and was ready for action.

Mallard looked around carefully for something that would fit him, and eventually settled on a heavy armor suit with a tower large shield and a spear of significantly better quality than the ones the goblins before were using. He put on his armor, tapping the butt of his spear against the ground lightly, waiting for something to happen.

As Mallard's spear touched the ground, the three of you are teleported to the coliseum in Rome. (Before it started to fall apart, obviously.)

Out of the front gate came marching a ten foot tall mech, gears grinding and oil pumping through it. It's front was completely covered by armor but it's wires and such were exposed in the back. The mech was accompanied by a group of about ten unarmored gladiators carrying tridents. "Hope you all paid attention in history!" Beat said putting his machete on his belt and drawing his swords.

"Oh come on. Why do the bad guys always get the cool tech." Mallard said, spinning his spear. He readied himself for the mech and the gladiators to split apart so he could charge the unarmored foes and beat them out with his range.

"Listen, that thing has to have a weak point. The tech might also be old, look for any exposed wires and such." Beat said readying himself for the unarmored foes.

The shrew slammed the shield into the ground, it embedded and stayed upright, then he promptly ran away from the bad guys

Mallard look at the shrew. "Oh good, there we go" He held up his shield and slowly advanced towards the enemies, making sure to stay far enough to avoid any surprise attacks from the mech.

Beat had lured two of the unarmored foes away from the main group. as they closed in on him, Beat flew up and stabbed the two centurions simultaneously. As he landed, a third came up with a knife raised high. As he went to stab, Beat grabbed his wrist, pulled out his machete and stabbed the third guy twice. Beat put the machete back on his belt and retrieved his Naue II swords from his first two victims. "Nothing to it..."

the shrew pulled the great spear from his back, still running full speed away from everyone, he plunged the spear tip into the ground, pole vaulting over the wall and on to the chain link mesh that covered the arenas aerial perimeter, he began to climb, pretty soon he was over the group of enemies

Mallard stared at the shrew, mouth slightly agape. "Well then.." He turned back to the large mech in front of him, poking with the spear, but focusing more on defense than offense.

"MALLARD LOOK OUT!" There was a gladiator behind him trident raised high, the shrew wedged his fedt in the mesh and let himself hang, the chain he had taken lashed out, wrapping around the trident and smatching it from a thoroughly confused gladiatior and giving the shrew a new trident

In the gladiator's confusion, Beat swooped in behind him piercing the gladiator with both his swords. "Believe me, I don't think you'll be needing the trident anymore." he pulled the swords out and the gladiator fell dead.

Mallard started to swing around, but would've been pierced if it hadn't been for the shrew. "Thank you! I owe you one." However the mech used the time that he was distracted to charge up and take a swing with its arm. It hit Mallards shield, but mallard still gets flung back, the shield flying out of his hand.

The shrew fastened the chain to the mesh and climbed back he let go swinging through tbe air, his feet outstretched, he reached the middle of the arena his feet catching the straps of the sheild he had dug into the ground, he carried it with him slamming into the mech and knocking it off balance he fell to the earth as the mech toppled, it was down but not out, giving the others time to get close

More gates open, and a few chariot drivers charge in, towing archers behind them

Mallard quickly recovers, grabbing his shield and moving at the horses. Making sure to stay behind his shield, he met one of the chariots charge, avoiding the horse, and stabbing the archer driving.

The shrew s crambled to his feet grabbing his sheild and whipping the chain so that it fell lose from the ceiling he lashed out and grabbed a chariot, as it yanked him forward he hopped on top of his sheild looping his feet in the straps again hu surfed around the arena towed by the chariot he lashed the chain to his chainmail and pulled the trident from his back "good thing the driver doesn't know I'm here..." he ducked and grabbed the shield lip, pulling up and jumping to catch a small flurry of arrows
(I try to work with what I've got... I'll draw a picture of it later)

Beat looked around at the chariots and archers pouring in "Probably not safe to fly, should I go for the mech or should I try for the archers first?" He knew the mech was vunerable but it probably wasn't going to get up for a while so he decided to try for the archers. He spotted three of them nearby "That's three too many!" He quickly bullrushed them knocking one of them flat on the ground then pulling his swords, attacked the other two with a wild and violent tornado of slashes till they fell to the ground dead. He then ran before the third guy could regain his footing.

The third guy was getting up when he promptly had his face ripped off by a trident from a sheild surfing shrew

(I'd say darting around as a rapper bat with sharp weapons killing giant centipedes is pretty awesome, so yes.)

(This is more or less what the original concept of the pit fights was supposed to be... but the pits obviously turned out completely different. Good to know you're having fun!)
There is a rumbling roar as a whole pride of feral lions charges in through an open gate.

Shrew (in case you are wondering it is because I forgot what I named him) continues sliding around, taking out a few more gladiators, two of the chariots, and one of the lions (geez we aren't even finishing the wavea, you are flooding the arena dude)

There is a sudden crash of thunder, and it starts pouring rain in an instant. The dust of the arena has become mud, and it is very hard to see.
(Yeah, i'm not a very nice person. You're still AGMs though, so you can do basically anything within reason, and does not completely derail the RP.)

Beat was actually pleased to see the rain, not only would the rain ruin the mech but it would also obscure the vision of the remaining archers. He flapped his wings and dove on one of the nearby lions with his twin blades. "This should be good...." He said to himself.

The rain lessened but continued, the slick mud making it difficult for the lions to pounce and easier for shrew to slide around
Another few folks down...even better the loins were going after the archers
(I only said that because we won't be able to keep up with what is left to kill)

Mallard looks at his two companions, ripping everything to pieces. For a second, he thinks about kicking back and relaxing, but decides instead to go make sure that the mech doesn't get up. He drops his heavy shield, as it would weigh him down in the muck, and quickly runs over to the mech, making sure to stay low and dodge all the incoming arrows. He quickly jumps up the side of the mech, making sure to not slip, and starts ripping out the wires in its back, finishing it off. He stabs at a lion that pounced at him from the ground, piercing it through the throat. As he pushed the lion off his spear, he called out. "Where did lions come from?"

"Not sure, but we need to finish them off all the same." Beat yelled as he dove on an archer and flew back up.

Shrew snatches msllards sheild and his greatspear chucking it at the archer in the chariot he was being towed by, he whippedhis chain to pull him up to the chariot cockpit he detatched the chariot and bound the chain in the reins, continuing to be towed...but now he was driving

"Hey! Come back with my shield!" Mallard yelled at the shrew. He dove from on top of the mech, and rushed over to the body of the archer, his spear still protruding from the dead creatures chest. With a wrench, he pulled the spear out, and quickly dove to the ground to avoid another lion. He quickly got up after the lion leaped over him, and stabbed it in the flank, going deep enough to put it out of commission. He then turned and ran towards the Shrew driving the chariot. "I need that!"

The shrew grinned "WELL YOU WERENT USING IT! weiner!" He threw the shield hitting the ground and embedding it enough to use it as a jump he ollied and landed on an archers face knocking him from his chariot

New characters, new arena, new baddies! Meat locker meat hooks GO!!
NAME: Meak Veridis
RACE: Egyptian Mongoose
GENDER: Female
APPEARANCE: About 5 ft 1. She looks pretty average for her race, but she is much stronger than she looks (she IS a mongoose, after all.) No particularly unique patterns or markings.
ROUND THREE!! *DING DING*
Meak wakes up face down in the mud. As she gets up on her feet, she finds herself in a large circular arena, the edges lined with rambunctious hooligans.
Meak: *Cough* "heh, this looks... interesting."
Just in front of where she had fallen, she finds a flanged mace, which she picks up.
Meak: "I'm liking this already"
A large gate on the opposite side of the arena opens, and trio of cane toads step out, wielding crudely made clubs. They charge at Meak
Meak: "Heha, this is my kind of sport!"
Meak charges back at them.
(Go! Fight! WIN!)

Appearance: stands 6'1 roughly 163. is not extremely muscular, but has good muscle definition. Has dark brown fur and stormy blue eys. Also has a scar on his forehead above his right eye.

Valarius opens his eyes upon hearing the sound of another's voice. He reaches out and grabs his Zweihander, feeling pain in his side. He looked down noticing bruises over his ribs. He began to walk towards the voice, but was yanked to the ground. His left arm was chained to the wall Behind Meak. "Hey you! Come break me free from this and i'll lend you my skill!" Valarius readied himself. If he was to die chained to a wall he'd die fighting. (because why not make things hard for him!)

Luckily for Valarius, the chain was rusted and could be broken with enough effort. Besides, Meak was already in the process of scrambling a toad's egg salad... through irreparable head trauma.

Valarius, figured Meak wouldn't be coming any time soon so with all the strength he could muster he threw his left arm forward breaking the chain from the wall. He let out a battle cry before chargin head long to fight beside Meak. He charged one of the Toads running it threw with his sword then lifting up cleaving it in two, he looked around for the third toad having lost sight of it in the fray.

Over in the shadows stood a shady figure, one that rarely spoke. They were watching as Meak and Valarius were fighting two of the toads. Suddenly, they ended up staring into the eyes of a cane toad, and she knew that she had to prove herself to the other two. And so, she started battling this toad, who had an evil smile cast upon it's face. This game of fencing went on for about ten minutes, and the Silent Guardian was worried that she wasn't going to be able to defeat this last toad, and so she yelled out, "Valarius, please help?"

The bad guys charge in. The special of the day is giant spiders. A level one puppy could kill these things, so don't embarrass yourself like you know you're going to!

And with that Terrin charged and pole-vaulted on top of one of the spiders, which he began to mercilessly bombard with questions.
