*the black marble throne, or so long empty, is once again occupied. faeries and vampires, gypsies and lycans, ghosts, shadows, and half beings gather around, watching the assemblage with interest and longing. a white furred male sits in the throne, curled childlike in the seat, a tattered black cloak wrapped around him* Greetings my friends. it has been long since i have sat on my throne. the warm spring of my time as a young roleplayer has gone, and now the winter of disinterest is fading. summer is coming my children, and with it, this rose shall once again bloom forth. my gift lies not in sciences and the modern times. /I will not pit my skills against those of gamemasters of sci fi or modern games. my gift is fantasy. stories of the everdancing fey, the immortal vampires, the fair and lovely gypsies, these are the tales i tell. i am silvertongue, dreamweaver, lie lover, trickster. stories bubble forth from my brain, and now the frost is gone. i am back my friends. spread it through the threads, like an eager spider. gather round my children, we have some golden tales to spin.
My first story is a dive back into the sites longest running rp, covens, bloodlines, and roses. this will be a new vision of our old characters. untold stories will be told, backstories will be written and read, connections and bonds will be forged and reforged. i await my fledglings return. when they come to me, the story will begin anew.

How appropriate, my vassal is the first to return. very well my childe, i shall explain further. we shall resume control of our former vampires, descending once again into the world before julians descent into darkness. we will further explore backstories of characters, forge stronger bods of love and hate, friendship and rivvalry, between our characters. we will, essentially, uncover areas in the story we felt we would have enjoyed viewing and playing more, and expand upon these parts.

Ah, now if i can follow this RP from the start instead of reading 200+ pages, i can finally know just what it is that made it so popular! :) If i can scrape together some time (and it's okay for me to do so) i will consider playing a single character, who's role in the story will be insignificant enough that they won't be missed when they inevitably get obliterated in some awful way... in theory anyway. Regardless, i'll be watching this one.

Milord, I believe that we should expand upon the future where Bolivar hails from. A world in chaos, where its descent into darkness and night has only begun, where the normal are attempting to fight the paranormal. How his time travel created a form of ripple that allowed two versions of himself to exist. The feral, loyal, vicious pet of the high grand vampire lord Julian, and the heroic original version who fights to protect the safety of the normals.

As for me, bolivar's past IS the future. In order to go back we must go forward, unless you would wish to expand on the adventures of Julian, Devon, and Bolivar. I would be fine with that as well.

The future I ask for is the one where the name Julian is synonymous with that of satan, evil, demon, pestilence, corruption, death, war, famine, fear, hatred, and all other things evil. It is where good is losing the battle with evil, and is seeking ever more desperate measures against them. The worst possible scenario future, almost.

Appearance: Main is dark gray with secondary fur being gray, green eyes with light blue markings on the arms. Fairly well built.
Clothing: wearing leather armor on torso with quick access to a dagger on his right side (sword on left side). His pants are fairly loose over his fur as he'd prefer mobility over protection with his leather armor on his torso being his only protection.
Weaponry: one handed sword that he wields with his right hand. He has previously trained with a shield available for his left hand. He prefers to fight with sword alone, dagger for close combat and he would only use a shield if one was available and the situation called for it.
Backstory: I think I need to now more about this realm to create a backstory. I'm basically going with..worked as a blacksmith as it was his fathers trade, used to practice swordfighting with his older brother who is currently missing or dead. He left his village in search for an adventure. He thought that living in that village alone was boring and wanted to travel (he did not want to stay a blacksmith).
Personality: He is fairly playful and is not one to be alone. He likes to be around others as well as see new places. He is driven to protect his friends and tries to defend those that can't defend themselves. (mostly when it involves neglectful authorities)

you do know this is based in present day right?
just a suggestion, but read up a little on covens bloodlines and roses OOC and IC thread...the first few pages of each should tell enough

Style: Caring but ruthless. Can be cold blooded as well as loving and sweet. He cares for his friends and the people he values but has no pity for whom he considers the scum of the Earth.
dark gift: The power to control and create electricity and heat. (So much heat that he can melt metal or simply make it easier to bend)
Preferred victim: No preference. Mainly whoever his blood-lust leads him toward.

not to mention doc IS horribly OP but he has no drive to fight...which is why i'm more comfortable playing him in the past.

Um, forgive me for my rather foolish question, but there were 7 votes in the polls....who is actually interested in this? I didnt think we had 7 people? and the official vote is dark future, which has recieved both yay and nay votes, so i feel this is important.
Also, if you dont want to right about the future/time travel aspect, dont, its your book. im quite eager to see/read it though

um, i know i kinda have had like, 3, "im coming back" moments, but, um, i mean it this time, so please forgive me my lack of posting. for one, im still getting used to this new computer (i used to have a tiny laptop, so cute and easy to type on! <3 ), but now ive got an oversized one, so my fingers stretch trying to type! Weight: 110lbs (hollow avian bones.)
Appearance: pitch black feathers with oilspill quality shine. Bright green eyes. Serrated beak and razor sharp talons both on hands and feet. Wings split off of a second joint on her arms.
Clothing: black leather jacket and black mirrored aviators. Black fingerless hard-knuckle leather gloves.
Weaponry: twin glock-18s with snail drum mags and (fake?) blood splatter paint jobs, firing custom rounds consisting of lead cores with balsa wood outer-shells, and silver tips, essentially making miniature stakes(if you approve...) razor sharp talons and serrated beak.
Personality: sadistic and ruthless, Blight is a cannibalistic rebel child.
Other info: is vampiric in that she is undead and requires blood to survive, but her lycan side gives her a heartbeat and body heat, causing her to resemble the living. Has both vampiric and lycan weaknesses, and strengths. Blood is (edible?) by vampires, and is more favorable than mortal blood.

oh, sorry, didnt see that. fine, but be aware, you have to hit the heart, a VERY small target to insta kill vamps, and a bulletproof vest negates your stakes. on the plus side, you ignore the hardness of vampire/werewolf skin, and they cant regenerate the injuries for a while, even if they dont hit the heart

Thick Kevlar body armor like the platemail of old is used as his armor. Currently part of the sanctuary program trying to put a stop to vampires.

Sure, i dont mind. ill bring him back as soon as i can logically bring him in (i dont like those just, oh, here i am! entrances)
