You see a Prairie Falcon sitting on an old chair, she has an eyepatch on and is missing all the fingers on her right hand. "Hey...Name's Mira...Mira Hartman, sit down, i got a story to tell..." she seems rather distant as she starts, like her mind is elsewhere. "It started out like any old Night at Club Pulse, lots of energy, bunch of young 20-somethings partying like there was no tomorrow...dear lord was there a lick of truth to that. These...these furs came in and starting biting, killing and eating people for no reason..." She brushed her long red hair out of her face and continued "I barely made it out, luckily my boyfriend Blades Tavare managed to come by and pull me out of that mess. He also picked up his friend Faye Cooper, a hairdresser who was a crackshot with a rifle. after weeks of barely scraping by, we found others. This firefighter turned martial artist Clare, An engineering student Xavier, and an ex-army sniper Prowl Silva. We found ourselves at her cabin, following her rules and trying to make our little safe haven. We were visited by bikers and shortly after, we began to but heads with one another...Prowl almost shot Xavier, and she might have succeeded had it not been for Faye. For some reason, she fell for him. Prowl was a bit unpredictable for reasons i may never know...one minute she wants to cap Xavier and the next she'll ride to the heart of the dead city to save a little girl...like Tara. After Xavier and Faye left the compound, i learned the lesson never go off on your own...I got abducted by those crazed Dark Crusaders and lost my eye and fingers thanks to them...barely got away with my life there. Eventually i stumbled across Faye and Xavier by some miracle, they had picked up some kid by the name of Tuk. They agreed to team up with Blades, Prowl and the others to take them down and try and clean up this city...never should have dragged them into this..." She got a misty look in her eye "All those people we saved from the city...That kid Blades told me about...Jack...Mynyah...Tuk...they...they didn't make it, none of them fif...Except for that soldier Girl Chanel and what's she got for it...an older sister who's now missing a leg...poor Izzy, that on top of losing Jack...It's all my fault...i never should have dragged them into it." she dryed her eye. "After we gave our dead their due...we sat down and started to draft a constitution, try and make something of this screwed up world...At least we got that right. Now we're a haven to all who seek hope in this weary world we once knew...Hope this lasts..."
Now that you've read that little recap...Let's get to the present time in the storyline...Welcome to Fading Hope Season 2, this takes place roughly a year after the events of 20 weeks (Season 1). 15 months since the virus claimed his first life...it ran rampant. But alas...even in the darkest cave shines the slimmest ray of hope. New Morsville banded together, killed the Dark Crusaders, and made a home for themselves once more...Wish the same could be said for Crandale on the opposite end of the state...It lies in ruins, only one small band of survivors remaining...food's running low, not a lot of water left, counting down our last bullets...we're just waiting to die here...suddenly a Darwin's Fox and an African Lioness begin to approach. "Wait? They don't look infected...who are they? Why are they here? Are they are ticket out of here...only one way to find out..."
I'll tell ya'll right now...this season's gonna play a lot different from season 1...let us introduce the new systems...
Major/Minor character system: Everyone gets ONE major character (The character you intro in the beginning of the game) this character will see this RP to it's end. If you wish to play more characters, they will be considered Minor characters whose fates will be in the hands of the major characters who will keep them safe or live with the guilt of their choices. If you wish to begin with a pair of characters (EG: Brother, Sister) I MAY make an exception, this will be discussed via PM.
Survival Tokens: These will soon become your best friends...Survival Tokens are a great thing to have in this torn-up world where the dead walk. These can be cashed in for Major character perks, choice gear, access to locked-off areas, or to save a minor character from dying. Everyone will begin the game with one Survival Token but there will be ways to earn more and to lose them like rule-breaking and such.
Inventory system: Yep...no more bottomless pockets. Each character will have their own Resident Evil-esque ten slot inventory. This should help make scavenging more tense like do you lose your last inventory slot for food, water, or medicine?

Convoy system: Unlike Season 1 which took place solely in New Morsville, our little party will be travelling city to city with New Morsville being the end goal. Hence we'll be riding in cars and you all know what that means...limited seating and storage. Do you leave that man to die or dump some of you dwindling supplies to make room for him?

NEW! Crafting system: Supplies aren't exactly abundant in this screwed up world...so you gotta make the most of what's available! Suppressors, traps, new weapons...you'd be amazed at what you can slap together with some duct-tape and some know-how!
IMPORTANT NOTE, PLEASE READ AND REREAD!!!: For now we'll only be revealing our Major characters. The RP will begin with an individual story from your character's eyes anywhere from Day 1 of the infection to the day before the current time (Refer to The Walking Dead: 400 Days DLC if you're confused). Afterwards, we'll do a page or two of interaction before a couple returning stars from Season 1 come with the offer.

1. No Godmodding period
2. If you're gonna be away for a while, please PM me so we can work something out.
3. Wise is my AGM, what he says goes unless I overrule him.
4. Three sentence minimum when posting, after all detail helps build the scene.
5. All systems will be obeyed at all times, no ifs, ands, or buts about it.
6. Don't fill your inventory more than half in the beginning there's still stuff to be claimed out there...also, please make said items relevant to your character's past (No starting with a Rocket launcher and an LMG if you were an office worker or anything ridiculous like that...)
7. First time rule breaking will result in a warning, only major offenses after that will result in expulsion after that. All other offenses will result in loss of survival tokens or if you have none it'll consist of having the rug pull from under you when you need it most.

Looks: 5' 11" 135lbs jet black with white speckles, one around left eye which is ice blue. The other eye is dark blue. Athletic, surprisingly well maintained figure(not starving-skinny...)
Clothing: wears a black tank top with riot guards on left arm, and black jeans with combat boots. Also wears a black metal-framed backpack with a custom sheath for her blade(allows quick access.) wears black hard-knuckle gloves, and a black military grade watch on her right wrist. Wears a silver and onyx pendant on a black lace strip tied fairly tightly around her neck.
Personality: loves the night-time, and hates daylight, otherwis under development... Will develop through story.
Backstory: once a professional thief for hire, before the plague, Star was once even hired to steal the world's largest diamond, though the job didnt exactly pan out, as the client died of mysterious causes. The mask she wore, along with her "starry sky" pattern, and how well she excelled, earned her the nickname "Star." (Her mask had a giant star on the face.) her job also earned her a good life in a penthouse that is now wrecked and full of walkers. Still possesses many of her theif skills, including her flexibility and agility, though mainly uses them to get supplies, anymore.

Might play one character, a minor character... but before i decided to take part, i'll make sure the situation in Kings and Queens is dealt with.

It's all good, but with the backstory... i may as well make it a story on its own. I stayed up till four in the morning writing it, and it's so long that i'm not going to post it until Yoshowdy says it's okay.
Unless someone can come up with a good reason for me to stay, i'm going to pass on this one. Don't think for a minute that i won't use the story for something later down the line... i have an idea...
EDIT: Nah, i can't come up with something without investing in it, and if i invest in it, i'm committing to it. This RP is going to be good, i know, but i would rather get my own running...

Name: Leilani Rosario

Species: River Otter
Looks: Stands 5'6", chin length black hair, snow white fur with light purple on her forearms, chest and chin, skinny, blue eyes like ice.
Clothing: Black basketball jersey, jeans, and green basketball shoes with a silver seashell necklace.
Personality: Kind and understanding but seems rather serious and knowledgeable for her age.
Backstory: An out-of-towner, Leilani originally came to Crandale for states basketball tournament, after her team won their first match they came back to find their hotel torn up and flooded with the dead. Scared for their lives, the team scattered...Leilani's the only survivor as far as we know. Thankfully with her mother being a nurse, Leilani has some skills to care for herself. Unable to make it back to her hometown in Marksburgh, she found herself helping out in a shelter where she could...until it got overrun. Now she's holed up in an old theater, confined to Screen room 3 the only one that wasn't chained shut.

Species: German Shepherd
Looks: Has an average build but isn't really that strong. He stands at 6'0" and weighs 150 lbs. He has light blue eyes. Looks like a normal german shepherd except for the scar vertically across his right eye.
Clothing: He wears a black baseball cap, a black and red leather jacket with white t-shirt underneath, dark blue denim jeans, and black tennis shoes.
Personality: Kind of a smart aleck, he always seems to roll others aggression off his shoulders, turning it into a criticizing remark or a simple roll of the eyes. He considers himself intelligent, but not above all others. He instead likes to place himself equally among the others before he is called out to show his skill. Is kind most of the time but can blow a fuse if he is bothered while he is working on something important.
Backstory: Growing up with a normal childhood, all seemed glamorous to him. But as the years passed by he learned of his talent for technology. He instead of helping people, became a criminal stealing money from others' banks accounts. Not all of it mind you but just enough to get him a nice place and then some. But instead of buying a nice place like one would expect, he lived in a run down city home, but with the best tech money can buy to further help his crime spree. Now with the virus spreading around like a plague, Rex finds himself to be useless without society living like it was normal. The only things he grabs that are of value now are obtained from looting abandoned houses. But fortunately with his tech skills, there are still some uses. He is set up in a city home with a small electric fence he rigged up himself (it runs on a backup generator. Looks like this kinda http://treasury.nd.edu/assets/87707/city_homes_resized.jpg and a fair warning to say that the whole upper level is filled with the undead. Rex didn't really bother to sweep it out yet. However the entrances to the upper level are blocked heavily with furniture).
Note: This is at least where he lives at the present date. His intro is going to be probably within the first week.

Backstory's fine, however you may wanna compact all the climbing gear into a climbing kit cause there will be opportunities to obtain other gear like guns and such.

Looks: 6'1" 140lb. Dark brown fur with reddish tints. Stormy blue eyes with a small horizontal scar on his forehead above his right eye. Slim, but has fair muscular definition
Clothing:
Personality: Seems to suffer from sociopathy. Can show emotion, but it is usually fake. His sociopathy makes him hard to read and difficult to pin where his loyalties are.
Backstory: Grew up in a fairly middle-class family. Spent most of his time indoors, generally despising furs and nature (still does). He was studying Psychology in college before the virus struck, he became somewhat over-zealous upon hearing the news. He was always joked as being the pretty boy and destined to be first to die in these scenarios, However he trained in Krav Maga for a year and Taekwondo for a year and a half. To supplement his hand to hand training he took and interest in small arms(pistols and SMGs, only trained in one rifle the M16). He proved more resilient than expected.

Back to back dialogue really SHOULDN'T be too wordy in a normal situation. I could see it if two people are analyzing and sizing each other up or if the conversation is causing conflict, but standard conversational dialogue?
Edit:I realized how I was coming off, let me clarify. I'm an advocate for a longer more elaborate post...When it adds depth to the mood and character, but if it doesn't do that then it's mindless fluff. Not every situation calls for a small paragraph.

Looks: stands about 5' 4", and weighs about 90lbs due to hollow avian bones. pitch black feathers with oilspill type coloring. Eyes are bright green. Serrated beak and wicked looking talons on both hands and feet.
Clothing: heavy leather jacket with holsters, black cargo pants, frayed off at the knees, and aviator sun glasses. Wears no shoes so she can use her talons.
Personality: sadistic and ruthless... Blight is a killer at heart, and a cannibal added to that package... Her tendencies come from a rebellious nature, which sometimes shows through.

Species: Cougar
Looks: Ocean blue eyes. 5'11" 136 lbs. Standard fur colors except for the occasional steaks of yellow on her torso and arms.
Clothing: Two half inch gauges (one on each ear). Black beanie hat and blue denim vest (along with a black t-shirt with varying designs on the shirt). Blue jeans with the english flag printed on the right leg sleeve.
Personality: By no means a stick in the mud. She loves having fun whenever she can whether it's finding batteries for her old gamebark or playing a game of cards. However she can be very cautious of new and different things that is introduced in her environment. Whether it's new people or the group wanting to move to a different location. It all depends on her current mood. However, she cannot be told differently and can be pretty stubborn when she thinks they're doing something the wrong way or doing something that just isn't right. She gets scared rather easily and doesn't like to kill. She's okay with killing the infected (somewhat), but almost never other people. She will however put up a tough front to make others think she isn't afraid to pull the trigger.
