Have any of you tried eve-online?

Its kinda like multiplayer elite with bells and whistles. I got into the beta right at the end  but my internet was down (was moving from dial up to DSL and the end of my dial-up account didn't meet up with my BB modem arriving).

Hmm... Eve online dosent appeal to me in the way that X-Tension does, I like bieng the lone trader, free to make money in any way i please, to own a massive network of ships and stations in many sectors, and all without the major threats of people trying to pk you and stuff... im hoping to get the games sequel too, and if its anything like it, then it may just strip elite of its title

For those of you who would be interested, I bought the game (needing a new space game) and I also instaleld the server files on my dedicated server.
I'm willing to let it run 24/7 or so for those who'd be be interested.

Just tell me if you want, and probably that I'd join in as well. ^^

I'm fast exhausting my games supply at the moment. Just got and finished Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Which is an awesome game just far too short.

Might have to give freelancer another spin.

Once you have played through the game a time or 6, there are some really good mods out for it, ones that change the whole experience. I'm using the current FLRebalance mod, new ships, new systems, Trent weras shades...;)

New Universe mod, MIGHT be out someday, and if it does come out it will be very sweet, but it's starting to look like vaporware... ':cry:'

I dislike Rebalance. I don't like how the energy system works. I used to be an ace but now I can't do the mission at Pueblo Station! I run out of energy and then I can't use Cruise speed. I tried New Worlds (Star Wars mod) and I like it. I got myself an X-wing that can kick butt. I wonder if there's a furry mod for FL out there?

I understand what you mean there Running Wolf, but I found out it has to do with the engine components you are using, if you switch them around the cruise engines stop pulling power from weapons (I hated that would get to a battle and only be able to fire minimum weapons!'<img'>....
