Enter the World of Fury

Hello! As I said I would here is a post to my soon to be delcared life's work, Fury!

The world is generally set in a standardized fantasy setting with Middle Age European overtones. It has 5 factions in it. Birds, wolves, foxes, horses, and “the Alliance”. Which is made up of various forest creatures. (Otters, bears, deer, coons etc). The foxes are based on a Napoleon arc type, they believe in the power of man as appose to the power of spirits, magic is very low in their lands. The birds are based on a Taoist spin on North American aboriginal life style. The horses are Aztecan mixed with North American aborigonalism. The wolves are a nomadic, Celtic arc type with a bit of spice thrown in to make them a tad more war mongering. The alliance is a spin on how Colonial Europe would act if you know, they weren't as successful.

The world is simple lush valleys in the middle of the continent divided by a mountain range in the south, and mountains rimming the northern edge.

When the world broke at the beginning of the current age, the birds took the north, the wolves took the west, the foxes the east, and the horses the south. They gave what remained to the Alliance.(which is the main reason for alliance bitterness.)

As for the game itself, there are 3 ways to win. Crush your opponent, simple enough. The second is use settlement cards (which have an affiliated point value) to build up to 12 points. Or my personal favourite corrupt the world. There is an ancient evil that lurks in the corners of the world, it is called the Nightmare. If you manage to give your capital (starting city/stronghold) the nightmare trait and their capital the nightmare trait you win! (It’s a lot harder than it initially sounds).

Oh it’s a story based game, meaning when a tournament is held it will affect the fiction, which in turn will effect the cards created. (Much like L5R has with it’s storyline). The game is not collectable, there is no packs buy the box you have it all! (Till the expansion comes out then you have to buy an expansion.) All the art is done by amateur furry artists! Now while some think this is solely for cheap art, I’m also trying to give people the chance to get a break. Heather Burton had to get her start somewhere...and I'm trying to help others get their start.

World of Fury for more details!

P.S. still looking for artists…always looking for artists….forever looking for artists….

I hope this tells you guys something about the game!

Any other questions or clarifications just ask!

P.S. The Cats, rats and Lizards will make their appearnce in sets 4,5,6...yeah I have this thing planned that far ahead...

Sounds really cool. I think I'll enjoy playing this!

Just out of curiosity, does the Alliance include rabbits, by any chance?

This game sounds very cool.
Any skunks in the Alliance?

And badgers?

I may not be an artist, but I could definitely help with the plot and cards themselves. *strokes chin* PM or IM me if you want to get together sometime.

Of a cybernetic ecology
where we are free of our labors
and returned to our mammal
brothers and sisters
and all watched over
by machines of loving grace.
