The lock on Donovan's cage popped open, but it was just a cruel jest, he was already dead. His face twisted in pain and horror. Scars covered his body one only a few days old.

"Sorry bout your luck, you've one broken key equals useless, you used one key. Now which of the last two keys opens the way out? The acid or the needles?"

(I was hoping that was a joke...so we've got a bloodied dead pants less Xander...)

The wrap does a fair job of warding away some of the needles, the rest snagging on the unprotected skin of your hand. Eventually you reach the key, but the needles stuck in your hand are not going to make it easy to remove, said hand from the small opening.

She slowly pulled her hand out, pulling her hand through the wrap and leaving it in to protect the arm and hopefully pull the  needles out of her hand

The wrapping does a fair job of clearing off most of the needles, but a few of the older and more rusted ones break off into your hand.
