You can use your power once I have made it clear in the IC thread.  In most cases it will be a reflexive reaction the first time, after that it can be used as you wish (some characters have a limitation on how often their power can be used.)

I apologize for the recent absence on this, my life became unexpectedly busy all of a sudden, and I actually have to take a hiatus on the forums as a literally have no time for them.  If any one is still interested I hope things will slow down after the holidays and I can pick it back up then.
