"It's located right next to the Civilian Cryo-Tubes." Rhys kept a slow, but alert pace watchful of every dark corner. "Well Myre, what kind of food are you going to want?"

"What kind of food?" Myre thought for a second. "Um... Yess. I'm not picky." She glanced down a hall, checking with her heat sensing pits since it was dark.

The darkness seemed to be hiding nothing malicious in it...for now. "Well the machines make a loud noise, depending on the one and it might draw that thing out."

"Air locks are located on the lower levels. 4 levels lower to be exact." Soon enough the dim glow of the Chow Hall lights could be seen.

"The larger machines won't be operational without the main generator, but still we'll take what we can get.. Just avoid dairy, no telling how long the fridge has been out." Rhys wandered around a bit. "Sweet swear words the burgers are still good."

Myre scowled and returned a carton of milk she had been looking at to the fridge. "At leasst the burgerss are sstill good. Let'ss ssee what elsse iss." She started digging through the food stores to see what she could find.

Rhys continued scrounging as well. "SUGAR PEAS!!" after scavenging around for a few more minutes the search reveled: Cheeseburgers, sugarpeas, steak and a few carbonated drinks. "It's not much but at least it's edible."

Yeah a mix, but i've kept it covered fairly well." He removed the sleeves from the security jump-suit revealing scaly forearms. "But these fangs are kind of hard to keep under wraps, but people tend not to notice when having orders shouted at them."

Myre opened her mouth, her fangs folding out, then closed it, her fangs folding back. "Mine act like a full blood sserpent." She shook her tail, making a loud buzz. "Plus, I have this, and I can see your body heat."

"that could prove fairly useful until we get the lights back on." Rhys looked around then shook his head. "after we're done here, the captains quarters are just at the end of that hall." He pointed to the hallway they took to get to the mess hall.

"Well let's hope it has body heat." Rhys looked around nervously "Alright i'm full so just let me know when you're ready." He got up from the table and began cleaning up his spot, muttering under his breath. "Damn creature....not getting paid enough..."

Asly smirk passed Rhys' face. "I like the way you think." He checked down the hall way. "Well it looks clear, let's get moving and wrap this thing up as fast as possible."

"Yeah no." Rhys laughed at little at her comment. As the traveled down the hall, their footsteps echoing throughout the metal hull, they found themselves getting closer to the Civilian Quarters that last break before the Captains Quarters. Rhys glanced over, stopping dead in his tracks at the horror that lay in the Civilian Quarters. "Everybody....everybody is dead.."

The whole room lit up, signifying these were fresh kills. Rhys walked over to one of the bodies examining it. "This wasn't done with a weapon...or explosive." He began to run his finger on the inside of the wound. "This was done with a really large, really jagged claw." He looked around and he body parts and entrails scattered about the room. "We need to get to that manifest as soon as possible."
