My back is out to lunch.  Makes it hard to do ... anything.

Getting ready to go out and search stores for Caffeine Free Pepsi. My mom can't find it in stores where she lives, so I thought I'd hunt for it where I live. Supposedly, the rumor is that there is an aluminum shortage, so some soft drinks have been stopped being produced if the cans can't be made. My mom thinks that's bull and she believes the real reason is that Pepsi probably discontinued some flavors so that other new flavors could be made and introduced.

Nope. Didn't find any today. :( Went to 5 different stores and nobody had any. Even called a friend who's wife works in a large chain store and she said they didn't have any. These supply chain issues affecting everything are really pissing me off.  >:(

Discovered a bent nail in one of my tires today. Gotta drive to work and back, then to the body shop. Maybe they can address the puncture.

Back to the dentist next week as a filling came out.
Then later in November during the week of Thanksgiving, I go to the oral surgeon to have two teeth removed. :( Looks like there'll be no T-day dinner for me.  :'(

My sister was to start her new job this week, but there was an issue with documentation. She already quit her old job, so probably not eligible to collect unemployment.

Sorry to hear about the teeth Kobuk.
Not to be funny at all, was it the Dew?  I like it myself, but may cut back.

My bad news this time is, my work went back on my day off they gave me.  And due to financial issues, have moved another time off to next year so the "books" look better.
Hmm...

My company has really ramped up the craziness.  They are off their rocker for sure!  What they envision does not align with what we can do, or what we know.
I see it going poorly fast.  Therefore, I should probably find another job in town.  :(
The company needs to seriously get their brains on straight!
I know I will try my hardest, I always do.  And I know it will be 3-6 months before things get seriously hot.  So I might have 1 year before I should blow out of there.
It just stinks to know, I might need to change jobs.

Honestly, I want to get out of my current line of work, but feel stuck and do not know how to get out of it.
It does bring me some money and stuff, but there is no happiness associated with it.  In fact it is my largest source of pain.
It would be okay if the job was do-able.  But it is tenuous at best.

Frozen burritos now 2/$1 at Kroger. They were 5/$2 last week. Dollar Tree stores in the town where I work raised prices by a dime. Gallon milk over double last year's price. Hello inflation!

I just opened my ice chest and found out that I didn't properly seal up my ham and pepperoni packages last time and now they've gone bad and slimy.  :(

That was easily two weeks worth of sandwich meat just gone. Not happy...

Clearance-priced laptop computer never arrived though the Paypal transaction details state it was delivered last month on the 13th by USPS. A Dell Inspirion 17 for $79 plus $20 shipping. Porch piracy? Postal packages go to the back door usually. A refund has been requested.

Car is going back into the shop. Brake problems again. Second time I've had to add fluid. Very slow leak. Only second time in a hand full of months I've had to add fluid. This time the brakes are staying spongy. I can stop but it takes more effort than it should.

I had a rough Christmas break. Went to visit my family and my dad's behavior means I am going no contact with them once again. Mochi got sick from the stress--turns out she has FHV 1 (feline herpes) after two pricey vet visits and tons of meds later. Two friends from my D&D group aren't talking with me much. Felt very lonely the past few weeks and was an absolute wreck when Mochi was struggling to breathe/eat. I'm thankful she's on the mend, and I definitely need better friends.

Went into my local Dollar Tree and found an apology posted at the entrance as they raised prices to $1.25 on most items.

The last 7-8 days have not been good healthwise.  :( Not going to say much, but was diagnosed with an infection which I am now taking antibiotics for. Had to go to the emergency room at the hospital briefly last Saturday too. Thankfully, that visit wasn't that bad. I can definately say it is not covid related in any way.

Sorry to hear that.

My bad news is,  I did an oil  change on the jeep and find my front right half shaft came out of the housing because the cir- clip was apparently weak, and it is new...
I Just pushed it back in till it clicked.  I will check out weekly.  It's a hard job to replace the clip.

Recent dentist visit realizing two bad molars in the upper deck to be addressed. One to be root-canaled and built up for a crown. The other to be extracted, and it won't even start until sometime in the Spring.

The folks changing my oil last week say my transmission oil pan is rotting and should schedule a time to address the problem. They found a few drops of ATF as they changed my motor oil. Drove to work Friday and before leaving for home, looked where I was parked and saw nothing on the pavement but snow. Talked to someone at Auto Zone and he said that they're likely doing a preventative measure. Bought some ATF and a funnel. Also checked online to locate fill tube and how to use oil dipstick to check ATF.
